I listen to the only band worth a damn....

    STEEL PANTHER!!!!!!!!

    Holy Hell that's funny!

I love some 80s hair bands and when you couple it with their lyrical content..All I can say is over the top lol

Lyrical content aside, Steel Panther are accomplished musicians, to the point of being better than most metal bands of any era, including today's posers. (looking at the death/thrash metal loads)

Title pretty much sums it up.

I'd like to know what you all listen to while playing :) Is it the in-game music(which is amazing)or do you have your own playlist?

When doing PVE I listen to the in-game music, but since I suck at PVP I turn on some Sabaton to get me hyped up. Also hypes up my history lover side :)

Look up "new retro wave" on YouTube. You're welcome.
    Zaghigoth- Orc Stamplar
    Soul Razor- Altmer Magsorc
    Les Drago- Redguard Stamdk
    Eirius- Altmer Magdk
    Stormifeth- Altmer Magplar

Disclaimer: My comments are a little sarcasm mixed with truth. If you can't handle that don't respond to me.

Depends on what I'm doing :-)

While doing PvP/Battlegrounds/Daily Dungeons/Grinding, I usually listen to music (on a stoner metal kick right now) or podcasts.

If I'm enjoying some PvE/ story content for the first time, I listen to the in game music (it's great!).

If I'm far into a story line but bored of the music, I'll put on other thematically appropriate music. Like the soudntracks of other Elder Scrolls games, or games with a similar vibe like The Banner Saga or The Witcher.

I like the in-game sound track and i enjoy the game's sound design of ambient and environmental sounds in the game, which are often quite amazing. I do not want to overshadow this with some external music, and there are some of the songs in the game, which are never getting old, because they come with a lot of nostalgia to me - like themes from TES:Morrowind or TES:Oblivion in new arrangements (which are quite awesome at it) plus all the new songs - I'll stick with in-game audio.

I have always loved the TES soundtracks and have play them in my car for roadtrips.

However, not sure why, maybe cuz I am old and falling apart, no matter how low I set the music levels in games, it drowns out ambient sounds and NPC voices.

So to answer your questions, I listen to the ambient, combat and NPC sounds.

I have this same problem. If you turn up the music on this game it completely drowns out the NPC voices . I have to set it at practically zero just to hear them. So I don't think it's because you're old and falling apart. :)

Some of the game's music is excellent. The Auridon theme for example is a particular favorite of mine and I love Orsinium.

But the combat theme gets repetitive.

I use Pandora sometimes when playing because of that.

Khajiit often has some Percival on in the background. Sometimes it is Niyaz or Wardruna.

This one she yowls along with the ones she knows the words to and makes approximate phonetic guesses for the rest.

Khajiit especially enjoys this track right now.

I listen to the orchestra I hired to play in my living room. It's especially awesome when someone wipes in a trial or dungeon. The tuba player gets all excited and plays "Whomp Whomp!"

Ah this one will explain a little. The lyrics are thus - or almost thus - a few lines may be different
    Wynieśliśmy, wynieśli Marzanecka ze wsi
    Przynieśliśmy przynieśli letorośli dości

    Latorośl, trawa roś
    Pacholątku na żałość

    A dzieweczce na radość.
    Ta hoża dzieweczka

    Mo czerwone liczka
    Radać ona, rada

    Śwarnego paniczka
    Dajcież bogowie

    Coby się wydała
    By nos na wesele
    Za drużki prosiła
    Dajcież bogowie

    Coby się wydała
    By nos na wesele
    Za drużki prosiła.

The basic premise is such - Every spring a figure representing the goddess of death and winter is taken from the village and chucked in a pond where she must sink. The death of winter and the birth of spring once again. You must not look back at her as you walk away.

The song is about this - Marzanecka is leaving the village, we go outside and wave birch sticks, isn't spring nice etc.
