    Just seems little backwards.

Do tons of pve content....get barely 10-20-30....

Do a few hours pvp before campaign ends on multiple characters.... get hundreds...

You tell me what's more difficult to play against; AI that follows easily read patterns or an unpredictable player? The game already caters heavily towards PvErs yet they constantly whine and cry thinking that everything should be handed to them for partaking in the easy activity.
Unless you are willing to be a mindless sycophant and/or coddle others due to their insecurities prepare to be harrased by the Orwellian enforcers on these forums. You should also try to refrain from using any words more complex than those used by a small child due to the fact that said enforcers have made it clear that their vocabulary pool is aenemic.

Just pvp half an hour each day and earn 20k AP so you'll get one RotW box.
Or pvp long enough to earn 7 boxes for the entire week.
Thats a minimum of 28 transmute stones each week if you're unlucky.
Sometimes you get lucky and loot 10 or 25 stones.

You dont have to pvp non-stop to get the benefit from the RotW boxes. If you have more than 25k AP you'll get the tier 1 end of the campaign reward which means another 50 stones each week. It doesnt matter if your alliance wins or loses, just remember to play on the 7 day campaign.

Do pledges each day for a minimum of 5 stones (non-HM for the DLC dungeon) and complete one of the trails on normal each day for another 5 stones per character.

Weekly minimum 88 transmutation stones with one character doing pledges.

Personally I think its easier to just re farm the the gear and only use crystals on items that have really low drop chances, BSW staff for example simply because you need 50 to transmute and I get 3 a day maybe 4 or 5 on my luckier days.
I also think the purple ones should drop MINIMUM 3-10 and hard mode should give 2 Geodes.

Why are we forced to pvp and wait a week to a month for a decent amount of crystals?

You know you can get 3 crystals a day from doing Undaunted right? Just from crappy green geodes - rarely they'll give a blue one. And that's just on 1 character. If you have more alts to run, like I do, then you can easily score more. 5 of my guys are used for daily dungeons so you can imagine... I pull 15 Crystals minimum that day (among all the loot, monster sets, experience etc.). I think you can also nail another Geode by doing random dungeons, I just tend not to do those.

PVP, no matter how little time you have to play - most certainly has a lower monthly payout... regardless of 7 or 30 day campaigns... PVP players get bigger geodes, but still get less crystals easily... whereas PVE players can earn a fully 100% guaranteed, non-RNG, 90 crystals a month. (Maybe even 120+ with the random dungeon done daily) per character. Doing 3 (4) dungeons a day isn't hard.... heck it's not even hard to do on 5 guys if you play regularly... easily 450 crystals a month that way.

I'm not a top PVP player or anything -but last I checked 30 day campaigns like Vivec only garauntee half of that at tier 1, 50 for those 30 days. Then the gold geodes which is where RNG comes in.... Even if you were doing it on multiple alts - it still works out to be less efficient. If you really want the crystals, Undaunted is probably, long-term, much better.

It is true you may put in less time into PVP overall than doing dungeon dailies - but the increased time investment PVE allows pays out much better if you make use of it. Those hours you're putting into getting the RNG geodes from PVP would be better spent in PVE getting a guaranteed geode for every daily pledge you do. No RNG to it, guaranteed payout.

I think this system is fine. As with anything else, expect/plan for the minimum - be happy if you get extra. Save your crystals for things that are important and hard to get (unlike me who cringes every time I look at all the fairly easy to acquire gear just sitting in my bank with the transmuted icon next to it sighhhh)

Not sure if is just my RNG but I always get 1-2 tops 5 crystals and that's it, no matter what activity so I end up having to do pvp on alts and just soak up all the crystals at the end of the month.

Why not get rid of RNG with these crystals and give a flat rate? Like 10 for daily dungeon, 20 for trials etc. Why RNG on these? We already have RNG in pretty much everything else as well as gambling store crates....

We don't need RNG on these. Without the pvp method you could end up taking 30-50 days for 50 crystals of every day playing with bad luck RNG...

Because zos doesn't want players going around and transmitting multiple gear, it would stop people from grinding multiple times and ultimately destroy their content, because people would just be 1 and done with a trial and dungeon, especially if they're gear farming.
