Not enough Disk space. Worked fine in beta, and a couple days ago. does it really require 90GB now?

I run the launcher, It prompts to install a patch. I click, Install, it reports an error that I need 60GB of free space. The game currently takes up ~31GB of space since it's already installed. I can't select the option to repair the installation, because that option never even presents itself. I can see the game requiring 60GB for the initial installation. I'd be perfectly fine with that. But a full 60GB is required for all patches too? Logically it should only require just a bit over the install size of free space. But now I'm being told I need to dedicate a while 90GB of my hard drive to this game? Really? That seems to be a remarkably inefficient way of patching a game if you need double the games size free at all times just to do minor patches...

Is there any workaround for this? Or am I really stuck having to free up yet another 60GB of space, when that was never required of me before in beta, or even after the early access started? This is unbelievably frustrating.

It only requires 30GB of space if playing in one region.

I had the same problem when I switched regions (on a 250GB SSD so this was a problem!). Just manually copy over the file contents to the region folder you have switched to.

If you didn't switch regions, then delete the game data contents and start again.

I didn't switch region. So yes, I've had to resort to deleting some game files in order to get the download to start. I'm just really, really glad that I'm not still on a bandwidth cap on my ISP, or I'd be screwed for this month.

I certainly hope we won't have to re-download the whole 30GB game every time a patch comes out. It would be a tad ridiculous to say the least.
