Just farm gold with any way you are familiar with and buy it.

I fought Molag five times yesterday. Got two scamp pets, no skin. I want the skin badly. I'm hoping the price on the guild traders will go down over the next week. Even then, it would take all my gold to get it.

That's a different skin. It's similar, but the one for sale has blue glowy veiny things all over it.

I been trying for the skin for last 4 weeks with random groups . Spent few hours on Thursday and Friday night was there about 4-5 hours but hardly any drops as dps not high enough on warden as she yellow but I got a drop just before bed and yo and behold I got the skin plus 2 scamps in the hours leading up to it I’m well happy so total 6 scamps lol

Seriously. Farm the gold and buy the box from someone else. Much easier. I tried for about 2 years when my guild had weekly events down there. Nothing.

Those same 2 years I spent as much time as I could down there during the double events. I amassed a hefty amount of tel var but no skin. Now that they can be sold... 1 million gold sounds very fair for something that had eluded me for so long. Farmed the gold. Got the skin. Not regretting it one bit.

I kept getting out dps'd in my pvp gear and was a 20% drop from molag, so I said screw it and set my skills and gear to my pve setup and got drops consistently jumped to nearly 100% after change. Perhaps just rng luck because I was there for more than 2 hours. I finally got the skin to drop after the 5th or 6th fight in pve gear. There was at least +25 people when I was farming molag. If you jump on at lower peak hours for your area you'll probably get better drops but have to compete with other factions more frequently.

Best to buy it from zone chat. Took literally the whole event last year to get both skin and pet. That's playing 7+ hours of grinding a day lol. Fun times. Pet the only thing good that dropped. The skin looks horrible compare to the crown store one.

If I was to guess I would say the drop on the skin is 1/100 or more and the drop on the scamp between 1/10 and 1/25. These are event drop rates based on what I have seen in the group I was farming it with. Not a very high drop rate, I agree. Some things should be rare though and this is rare.
