@Davor PS4 on a HP Pavilion monitor that's serving double duty as a second display and a TV. It has robust options, but the picture can only be improved so much when the game's native contrast is so broken. This is the raw screencap, unedited. I think it may also be a problem concerning their lighting engine, bleaching everything out in the game's midday.
No, unfortunately. There's brightness, but the only thing it does is crush the shadows when lowered. It doesn't affect this. I've also tried tuning the brightness up, thinking that the lower settings were blowing out the whites. All that does is make everything pale and retain the blown out whites.
@Versispellis ah PS4. So basically nothing you can really change except for what your monitor gives. Wow that is bright.
I don't know nothing about the PS4. I know on my xbox we are suppose to calibrate the TV to the xbox settings. I didn't like it so I ended up resetting my TV values. I don't know if the PS4 has this calibration option or not. But if you already tried changing the settings, then I don't think it will work. Just an idea.
I hope this gets fixed for you.
Not my quote but I love this saying
"I would pay It for support. But since they choosed we are just numbers and not customers, i dont mind if game and zos goes to oblivion"
@Davor I don't personally know of anything like that, but I'll see if I can do some more fine tuned Googling about the issue. The thing is, all of my other games look absolutely gorgeous. It's just this one that's really hard to take in. It's not just me, too. I was playing with my friend the other day and she said she had to stop for a while because the lighting was hurting her eyes. I really wish they would address this.
Thank you.
Edit: I just added my console/server to my signature, since that comes up a lot!
Thank you! I just double checked and it's not anything like that, though. None of the available profiles seems to help, and neither does a custom one.
Know what this reminds me of? Episodes of NCIS or whatever, when people are trying to "enhance" digital images. I feel like Gibbs right now. "ENHANCE!!!"
