I'm so glad I waited so long for the 2 Wild Hunt Crates only to get the exact same [Bravil Retriever] pet that I already had from BOTH crates.
I think the last time I bought crates was a few of the Dwarven themed ones like over a year ago...
Why would anybody buy crates at this point with this obscene RNG that is becoming worse and worse even with in game Drops becoming more and
more Rare with each new update taking the grind to a disgusting degree. I don't really have anything else to say, I'm just annoyed and disappointed lol...

Wait, isn't the problem that your drop is too common, not too rare?
I'm not sure how one can feel an urge to rant about free crates. And it isn't like your results mean anything. It is a negligible sample size.
That being said, crown crates are garbage when they aren't free.8 -

Just be thankful that duplicate collectibles give you Crown Gems which can be used on crown crate goods of your choosing, plus getting free crown crates in the Daily Login Calendar was one of the best moves that ZOS made as it lifts some form of restriction.
Originally you could only buy crown crates which may have been somewhat bad for nearly over half the forums(or more), but as soon as they made the call to add crown crates to the Daily Login Calendar, Things were actually looking good.If you see me anywhere. Know that I am sitting back with a bag of popcorn, watching as ESO burns the goodwill of its player base with practices that only disrespects the players time like it did to me and many others...
If a game does not respect your time, best thing to do is move on from it and find something else.2 -

I still bought the game and pay for membership, nothing is free. Their Marketing strategies are what is Bad when it has the opposite effect of what was intended. It doesn't make me want to buy more crates although, I am sure some will have had better luck and will disagree...
What really bothers me is how not even the gems you are awarded in place of an already collected prize are not equal to it's value so even when you get a good one, you still get 2/3rds of your Gems taken away like punished for already having given them your money before. And as for the potions and poisons and what have you, it is not as though it gives you an advantage over anyone When everyone else is getting them as well.
All I'm saying is that there are a few things from Wild Hunt I really wanted and somehow got 2 of the same pet I already had... That's just messed up lol like what!? Give me literally anything else but IDK No big deal. I'm done, I don't want to drag this out more than I already have. I'll get over it...3 -

✭If you buy crates regularly you are bound to receive the your fair share of the chance for each item. You'll need to buy a lot of crates but if you keep at it the lucky rolls will cancel out the unlucky ones in time. Bad and good luck never lasts.

I got two costumes that I did not have: an argonian style robe, and the Toxin Doctor costume, which is pretty nice.
