Spears should be the equivalent of daggers in two handed skill line. Add crit chance when slotted, with more range and less base damage.Well...
Wand - magicka 1 hand weapon. Can be paired with another wand (to increase damage output to the staves lvl) or with shield (to increase defense). For skill-line counts only main-hand wand, off-hand doesn't grant additional skills. Skill-line is a mix of offensive and defensive skills and passives.
Spear - 2h melee stamina weapon. Kinda bow analogue, but in the melee range. Passives can grant additional evasion and armor pen.
Or add spears to the existing 2h line
Crossbow - stamina mid-range weapon. Has nearly no AOE and DOTs, but stronger ST skills. Max range is 20. Passives to armor pen.
Or add crossbows to the existing Bow line
Claw - melee 2w stamina weapon. Has passives to the bleed dmg and atk speed. This is always 2w weapon, unlike current 2w.
Or add claws to the existing 2w line

This.
Plus, one hand and spell is true to the series' origins where that type of play style was prevalent.
