We are currently investigating issues some players are having logging into the European PC/Mac megaserver. We will update as new information becomes available.

Is it such an ask...

To in someway limit who can and cant queue as tanks and healers in veterans and other more challenging content?

I know its not easy, and this discussion no doubt comes up a lot, but to at least say a tank should be in at least X pieces of Heavy with a S&B and a healer should at least have a resto staff would be a start and stop the moronic scenario of some guy with a destro staff and light armor thinking he can tank the new dungeons and getting 1 shot at the first tank requiring mechanic

In my experience it's usually some 700+ who expects to steam roll through a vet, and ends up wasting everyone's time as threat bounces around everywhere til eventually we kick and sit in queue forever, or group falls apart.

Get rid of champ points, and copy GW2 lfg system...problem solved.

get rid of champ points for a diablo esk system on paragon and as far as gw2 just no no no just limit it to to que as one or the other you have to have the weapons equipped at all times.

How about a moronic scenario where a tank tanks in medium armour and a templer heals without resto staff?

I don't see how removing CP would help with anything? Noobs are still going to be noobs and fake tank are still going to be fake tanking.

Vote to kick is your friend. Alternatively, you can group with people from guilds, friends or zone and remove the issue before it happens.

A weapon set does not make a tank. Why have a queue when we don't need one? Have a GW2 system put in that way you know exactly what the group objective is, or create your own.

LF3 dps WGT-500cp+ all dps run!
LF2mr tank, and healer, Story Play Through
    LFM Maz Achievement run
LF2 dps Sewers new player friendly run

The possibilities or endless and open to the player base on how they want to play, and no queue!!

Like I said, its not an actually solution, but there must me some way of determining if each class is capable of the role theyve selected

There are 4 taunts in the game.

Puncture from One Hand and Shield
    Inner Rage from Undaunted
Ice Staff Heavy Attack with trifocus passive
Tormentor set 5 piece with a charge ability

So, you'll have to allow for tanks that use taunts other than One Hand and Shield.

Well they could use the skills advisor feature they already coded in the game. Simply check the number of abilities and morphs they have compared to the cookie cutter builds the skills advisor recommends. Then set a threshold and don’t allow those to queue that don’t match.

But it’s not so simple. It’s a hard problem. I stopped using skills advisor when I respecced my dude for the first time around level 30. And run totally custom stuff. Finally turned its suggestions off.

What you’re describing is a problem but it’s not an easy problem to solve with a computer program.

yea but then youll get even worse comps that way so its best just to force it gear wise your either gonna be geared for the role or not allowed to que as it.

removing the cp system could actually help a ton as the main issue with all the problems in the game stim purely from that system to start with. but as far as grouping goes thats just something thatll never get fixed.

Yeah, it wouldn't really solve anything. The problem doesn't actually have anything to do with CP. It's people with zero patience and an attitude problem who think they can get away with skipping the line. They'd be around even without CP.

not really power creep exists cause of the cp system tons of high grades streamers and even high guilds say the cp system needs to go for something more straight forward. diablo 3 paragon system would work just fine. no jump points, easier to balance around something that if you fixed one thing it doesnt screw up a everything else making a meta outta one thing or the other. the cp system is litterally the first time ive ever seen a game struggle to balance around cause they introduce to much into it and cant make the changes without drasitically messing up something. so its better just to rip it out and give us something else.

Power creep exists regardless. If not the CP system, then new gear sets or unique weapons or skills. The D3 paragon system is the CP system, FYI. Don't know why you want to abandon one for the other when they are the exact same idea.

actually their not the same thing(i play both games btw) they can control a paragon system a bit better and balance better around it. the cp system the way they have it setup right now they make one change and they screw an entire spectrum. diablo 3 they nerf something a bit they litterally nerf it a bit, if they bring something up to par with everything else they actually bring it up to par with everything else. on here they nerf everything by a "small marginal fix" and make it practically worthless or they bring something up to par with something else and make it op. so how is the cp system the exact same? its not as its alot harder for zos to work around than if they followed the blizzard paragon system. its straight forward to the point no jump points what you see is what you get.

Had a 300 plus cp light attacking with a resto staff.
Lmao. There was a vote to kick i said no. We made it thru but was a pain.

Had a cp200 something. Now heres the differences ...he said thanks for not kicking him. And thanks for carrying him. And he asked a bunch of questions and asked what he could do different ect.
