My Idea is this, the owner can toggle the property to open pvp combat. Meaning players could freely attack any other player, regardless of alliance, without a duel being used. This would allow for very flexible combat like 2 vs 2, multiple groups,1vX, role play murders/conflicts and fun games like king of the hill or last man standing. Of course, there would have to be some protective measures like it can't be turned on if anyone but the owner is present and anyone teleporting in would get a warning and chance to abort. I'm sure most abuses could be prevented. The idea needs to be flushed out but I think it provides two great things for the game. More Pvp Options and additional fun and purposes for houses. Thoughts?
This would be unbelievably amazing! If I could find your post in general, I'd give you a shout out for such an awesome idea there too.

What this means is that any ability or spell that has a Target of "Ground" or "Area" simply falls through the furniture. Combatants using spells like these in a house that relies heavily on a space crafted by building block furniture pieces would be rendered almost entirely useless in a fight.
I agree that this is a big issue even today and having it resolved would make for a PvP - and home arena design - experience that would be orders of magnitude more enjoyable. I would not necessarily hinge open housing PvP upon it being resolved; but most would likely agree: having this collision issue fixed would make the community very, very happy.

What a bummer. Sorry to hear that. For what it's worth, I would wager that dozens of other people had a similar experience. I doubt that helps though...
