Anyways if someone posts in group chat that they need X gear piece and I happen to get the drop and I dont need it I will happily give it to them for free its not like you can sell dungeon and trial drops on the guild trader so other than give it to the other people in the dungeon theres nothing you can do with the gear if you don't need it anyways and 9/10 people will just run the dungeon again rather than pay an absurd price for anything other than weapons
I always find it common courtesy to tip the person who is giving you the gear if someone gives you a piece of dungeon gear you need and they don't ask for anything in return be sure to give them a few thousand gold for being a nice person
Now if 2 people need the same gear piece it goes to the highest bidder unless its a guild group then its first come first serve.

When I request and receive I usually tip in a form of other dungeon gear to match (so they can decon or sell), or with gold.1 -

✭✭OtherIf I remember their name, I'll usually just up and initiate a trade once I pick up a piece if I don't need/want it. Otherwise I'll just wait for them to reiterate what they're looking for at the end of the Dungeon/Trial.
Mixed feelings about the players that use whatever loot addon that lets you see the entire party's drops. Something about using an addon to get more information from other players regardless of consent just irks me.0 -

Or at least trade you a piece back from the run. Last event for the dungeons was my first time trying them. Someone did the message at the beginning saying they were on the 187th time on the run for it, I got the exact thing at the end. agreed to a trade, meant to wait to see the counter offer but I was bumped and hit the accept button before they had and they gave me nothing in return. I let it slide but have regretted that I did not keep the sword after I really had a chance to see what it was I gave away.
Unfortunately for others I am not so agreeable to trades now, especially since I have 13 characters that could use it even if it's not the one that I was on the run with. I am more apt to respond now with, "So do I".Edited by Grimm13 on September 2, 2018 9:31PM0 -

This would first and foremost be about would you spare your loot since the if has to come into play first.
Beyond that if they did not bother to say something at the end I probably would do nothing. It is nothing but white noise at the start since I am more interested in the content at that point. OP does not really give a response to that or some other very likely responses.

I'm not going to charge for it because I couldn't care less about amassing pixels along with the fact it had no real value anyway (vendor it for what like 200 gold? decon it for mats that most likely are worth way less than just vendoring it would have brought?), it makes more sense to try to get more geared people out there since it ends up helping you in various ways. On the other hand you can be greedy then continue to stupidly wonder why items are expensive (hard to farm without gear) and your PUGs sucks (harder to play without gear), it's your choice.Unless you are willing to be a mindless sycophant and/or coddle others due to their insecurities prepare to be harrased by the Orwellian enforcers on these forums. You should also try to refrain from using any words more complex than those used by a small child due to the fact that said enforcers have made it clear that their vocabulary pool is aenemic.2

✭Poll options are very confusing so I’ll just tell you how I handle this type of situation.
Last week I was farming amberplasm jewelry so when maz was the daily dungeon I kept queuing into random runs. At the beginning I’d state what I was looking for and how much I was willing to pay per piece(20k). At the end I’d ask if anyone had received any jewelry. Sounds to me like you're begging them for 20k for an item that is of no real value. If they do the smart thing and decide not to feed your greed then you've gained nothing and have no idea what you might have lost (that person could have ended up being awesome and you two could have ended up playing together having a blast) all due to you being greedy for pixels.Unless you are willing to be a mindless sycophant and/or coddle others due to their insecurities prepare to be harrased by the Orwellian enforcers on these forums. ✭20k isn’t that much gold guys. I said in my post a few up that I was willing to pay for certain pieces of gear. It works both ways an ideally newish player gets a bit of spending cash and I get the gear I want in less time. Some people may choose to hold on to that piece of gear for different reasons but when I was < CP 300 I was lucky to have 100k combined more often than not much less. So 20k is tempting for a good amount of players and it’s mutally beneficial to both parties.3 -

If it a dungeon i know has something i want...at start asking if anyone is looking for gear, and add i am seeking X...If someone is after something i get that i'm am not specifically after i will give it to them at end of dungeon. However if someone is using that add on and asks for my piece before i even see what i got?....that irks me sooo much. I will respond ill make all trades at end of dungeon, if they ask again before the end of the dungeon.....they aren't getting the piece. Generally i will give everything anyone wants at the end if its not something i need, though im more reluctant to part with any purple jewelry these days....But i am also the person that if someone is looking for a specific armor or weapon piece and they are cool about it, I will offer to rerun the dungeon on normal to farm for it too....it can be fun to burn normals farming for that one piece if you have the right group combo.Ummm stuff… about stuff…or something.2 -
