    My Breton petsorc was able to parse 33k dps with dual shock staves. Gear was, 5x necro 5x spinners 2x llambris and my rotation was a bit rusty due to lag and heavy attacks not going off right.

    25 k dps is sufficient to do most content in the game but I struggle to hit 30k on my Mag Sorc

    I'm running vMA with pet, coz much better survivability: more HP and stronger shields, also AOE stun from pet and less buttons to press


    This is more than enough for anything, but enlarging your e-peen :D

    I’m often asked about decent pet builds for VMA/Trial/Dungeon runs that DON’T utilize a VMA Staff.

    The following is a 36k+ build featuring Necropotence, Mechanical Acuity, and Llambris.

    I was using Haunting Curse since I use it in PvP and didn’t want to re-morph. If using Daedric Prey, cast it each rotation. You could also drop Curse and double bar Empowered Ward...still plenty of DPS.

    I’d replace Elemental Drain with Empowered Ward/Boundless Storm in situations where it’s already provided. The Matriarch gives amazing burst heals in a pinch, too.

    20k-25k, pet build with 5 Necro, 2 llambris and 5 Julianos. Never done trials so I find its sufficient for Veteran Dungeons and Questing.

    Solid 30-32k non-pet build self-buffed. Dual inferno, vma, julianos, bsw, and valkyn. I use elemental weapon for my spammable. Cp are in the mid 300s.

    Depends on what you want to do. For maximum DPS, try to avoid heavy attacks at all costs. A standard light attack rota without vMA staff should net you 35k dps at least.

    Since sorcs are easy mode in vMA, you should have a staff soon to achieve 40k+ dps. In a raid sorcs are there for buffs only. Be happy, if you get a spot. Even magplar in range build does more than sorc this patch.

    I parse 32k with Juli + Necro + Illambris with a 2 pet heavy attack build (650CP). A light attack build should pull more dps but with a harder rotation.

    Decent DPS for a magsorc is about 33-35k. The best are running 40k+ but are no where close to magblades.

    25k DPS is certainly enough for most content, especially if your group runs all mechanics. 40k is the highest requirement I've seen (for vAS+2).

    thanks for the replies guys i was curious. my gear atm is 5 necro, 5 infallible aether, 2 valkyn skoria and vma lightning staff on back bar.. dunmer petsorc using only the volatile familiar..

    and i can only do 25.5k dps...

    eventually i have to heavy attack pretty frequently and it starts with higher numbers like 29-30k but i can’t keep up the LA weaving so it just drops.. i need to practice A LOT :neutral:

    30k+ decent. Can go up to 45k max based on numbers. Anything more than that is crit RNG and procs.

    20k. Necro + Julianos. Two lightning staves. Matriarch but no blue monkey.

    But she's really more of a solo char so more important than more dps to me is her 12k burst heal, 20k continuous shield ability, and endless magicka sustain (HA's are her spammable). Also, she's got no interest in vet content so she doesn't get into the whole vet gear needed for vet content stuff. 'Big' stuff for her = soloing WBs and soloing normal group dungeons.

    If I had Perfected Siroria I could probably break 50k, I could have fragged one weave sooner on a couple times in that parse as well. The numbers many people will reference on here will be 3mil dummies parses, especially for sorc.

    About the same here just different gear sets. I can sustain around 25k on proper Target Dymmies but I can burst up to 30k on Precursor tests.

    Highest I've gotten was 20k on my petsorc, with julianos, necropotence, and ilambris, but thats if i really try to do my rotation best. Usually its 17k, but I'm fine with that bc i also have pretty good survivability with my Matriarch and ward. Ive also beaten every dlc dungeon on vet with some of them on hard mode(not the new ones), and 3-manned vWGT on hard mode, so I'm pretty happy with where I'm at.

    I am using FTC, but I am not sure it is showing me the correct numbers you guys take note, unless my DPS is extremely low. I see a sword, a cross and a shield below my buffs, so I take it those are the numbers. But after every fight I get around 4-6k, depending if i use my skills fully or just smashing R Trigger.

    I use Seducer x5 (4 epics, 1 legendary), x3 Magnus and x3 Willpower. Have around 35k Magicka.

    Note: Ironically I kill most enemies rather quickly. I believe if my dps is truly 5k and you guys get six times that, you could solo a normal dungeon for 4 people, faster than finishing a delve.

    I can't break 30k no matter what gear. I usually run juli, infall, skoria with vma lightning but ive tried all other sets and just can't get above 30k...with almost perfect rotation. Not terrible but I want better
