Stamina Character Assistance

So I have been a Magicka user since launch. I still main my Sorc, MagBlade, MagDen and any other class for PvP and PvE.

But I know that Stamina toons can hit crazy hard, plus I love being in the face of the enemy.
I got good with my Mag Toons by using PvE as training, then brought that knowledge to PvP.

What's a good class to get started? StamSorc or StamBlade? This is coming from a Stamina Noob that wants to learn.
(I have 5x VO ready and 5x Relequen ready when the toon is leveled)

Stam Sorc tends to be easier to play in general. NB I believe currently has highest DPS.

Crit Surge heal on Sorc is really nice for survivability.

any build can be in the face of the enemy with a gap closer ability, and mag can hit crazy hard too. Stamina has only higher burst because of the instant damage ults like incap, flight, or dbos.

stamblade is the easiest, u can go with that.

I'm looking for PvE mostly, then transfer to PvP

Stam dk is probably the best stam class to start off with

Stamsorc is the easiest to survive with. StamDK is the easiest to use.
Stamblade is the most difficult to use, and is the most difficult to survive with, but has the highest damage output.
Stamplar is easy to use, has great damage, has the best group utility, but has rough sustain.
Can't comment about wardens, because I haven't used one in PvE.

Stamden damage is low compared to other Stam builds but in PvP they are great (group utility, burst, mobility).

So when it comes to learning Stamina builds, stam sorc is the best way to pop my stamina cherry?

I thought this was a PvP thread lol. StamDk with a HA rotation will be the easiest way to start stam dps I think. stamsorc is the best for solo pve in my opinion but some might argue stamblade is better, and I can't argue with that considering how good they do in vMA leaderboards.

After looking on Reddit and reading here, many recommend StamSorc to start, as you have stated as well lol. I just made a full set of Purple Training Gear to quickly level up a new Stamina character. I really want to be really good all around.

Oh..Ido have a StamBlade PVP, I just need to learn Stamina survivability better lol

Its obviously a bit tougher than magicka, but nothing too difficult, you'll get used to it in no time, just gotta make sure you have the right build and abilities slotted for the right job. The rest is practice and player skill.
