Clams and other sea observations.

So went clam hunting this morning, noticed some things.
1) i dont think clams are dropping there alchemy ingredients. Found 4 in a row that only had guts and poison. It is possible someone else got there before me and only took the good stuff but was wondering if anyone else is finding they arnt dropping the ingredients.
2) whats the point of the fish eye recipe if were just telling what fishing spots are now?
3) can we get the sea vipers to chill? im just walking and not even knowing i aggro'd one and then they just coil around and stun you then they run away when you hit them.... Its kinda irritating.

I thought they made them guaranteed to drop mats in the new update?
I think they did... but they didn't guarantee you that the person who looted it before you took everything that was in there. Just like looting an ancestor silk node only containing worms, some people can be real jerks and only take the "good stuff" and leave the trash.
My guess is this is what's been happening to you.

Oh, with the wolfhunter update? If yes, then nothing changed for me, since i go fishing alot in Summerset and then pick up the clams i find while searching for fishing places :0
I was even fishing this week and found 3 clams with the normal guts and alkahest stuff :<

guess its hard to tell if there bugged or if players are just only taking the good mats0
