Imperial physique set at battlegrounds... ZoS?

So, it looks like Imperial physique set will be the next sloads for battlegrounds, this is the second time i see this, so im posting this cheater using the imperial physique set with the buff on at battlegrounds...
i hate this set so much and now people will start using it at battlegrounds, please fix

Id advise taking down the pictures and blurring out the name.

naming and shaming is against ToS and they will see this as such. Just blur our the name and repost the screens. Send the unblurred ones to ZoS in a report as you've already reported him im going to assume you've done that anyway.

And yeah IP in Battlegrounds is stupid and shouldnt be allowed tbh.

I'd hesitate to call it cheating if the battleground allows the tel-var stones to count with this set. I agree it shouldn't be allowed but you can't ban someone for a game design oversight like this.

The whole deal about sniping vAS boss is totally different in that it is an obvious exploit and those players knew it was an exploit and used it anyway.

These players may have been in IC when they queued for a BG and not changed their gear. All that has to be done is make the BG's have same coding as cyro so the carried tel-var doesn't count.

As I recall, IP's visuals can proc outside of the IC under certain circumstances, but the actual benifits from the bonus are lost. That said, I haven't spent a lot of time testing this, if you could see their health numbers, it might go a long way to confirm or undermine your story.

Sure if they made it so the other players get your tel vars that are not banked in bgs it would be problem solved.

The set often has the glow outside of IC, but it has never given me the stats. You are likely seeing a visual bug.

Except if that were the case, the guy would be shooting himself in the foot wearing it. It's more likely it really does work, and I would not be surprised considering just how many "oversights" there are right now. You can probably fill over 120+ posts with combat bugs at this point in time and describing them...

Since i was on my new character, i had resource numbers off at that time, but he got around 25 kills and 0 deaths, and i was level 10, using level 10 hundings rage, all medium armor, weapon damage enchantx3, and warrior mundus stone and he was very very very tanky

People at imperial city got banned because they killed mobs, each mob was giving like a million XP, to get trought the doors, there is no other way than killing them, unless you are a nightblade, and a lot of people got banned for that.

Aren't all queues disabled in Cyrodiil?

Does it actually work or nah? Like you will glow as long as you carry enough stones with you but it doesnt get the buff, and anyways it's not that hard to crank up kills and yet still not die in sub 50 BGs, even tho the opponent might be low lvl it doesn't mean that he's unexperienced player.

i was using 5/5/2 (2 pieces from another set, not a monster set of course), and he was still very very tanky and he could do a lot of damage, i was using fortified brass, wind's death 2 pieces for the extra physical resistance, and 5 hundings rage, 5 medium, 2 heavy, i was level 10, armor was 10, all enchanted, and still no chance, i understand that this is possible, using the appropiate sets, but the first 4 buffs of imperial physique!? + a wasted armor slot? nope i dont think so

I highly doubt that it would work, to proc IP stat boost you need to be in IC, going into cyro shouldn't affect to it in any way.

I see no proof that this person cheated in any way. The IP visual is always activated with 10k tel-var on you, regardless of the zone you're in.

It's easy to get stomped in the pre-50 BGs, this person's stats aren't showing, and you've gone off the bat to name and shame before verifying anything.

If I remember later tonight, I'll slap my set on and see, but right now, it looks like a witch hunt.

The entirety of this thread you've been going "my gear is so good, how could I lose???"

Let me put it this way, Imperial Physique gives a good number of stat points, this is no lie...but there is no reason that you cannot kill him if you are an adequately skilled player.

Which leads me to believe you are not an adequately skilled player and you rely on your gear to make up for your shortcomings, and then post on the forums whenever you lose.

Plus...as a level 10, I really doubt you have any decent abilities or passives to PvP with.

Essentially, all I see is you setting yourself up for failure and then complaining when you fail

You need more evidence to prove he had the buff from the set. Or try it yourself to see if the buff works for you.

Other than that, this post is not useful for ZOS.

And if it were the case and it is an actual bug where the sets buff works in BG, it should be in the "Bug" forum.

Why don't people try things out and see for themselves instead of... well, the many not so helpful posts above?

You can queue for a battleground while in Cyrodiil.
You can queue for a battleground while in Imperial City.
You do NOT gain the buffs from Imperial Physique in battlegrounds even if you entered from the Imperial City. I just tried this, and all I had was a fancy blue glow. And by coincidence I was even in the exact same map as the OP's screenshot.

The guy in the OP's screenshot might have been farming TVS in his guest campaign, and his home campaign was pop locked, so he couldn't get a safe way out by queueing for the other campaign. Joining a BG queue is another safe way out of IC in lack of a sigil and the campaign switch method.
