Should I bring my SS from hours around 23:00-01:00 when DC is pop locked and AD and EP are not?aaand last month EP won the campaign.
It is happening since 2 - 3 years on EU Vivec. Almost the same thing is happening on NA (except there it is EP). So it is not the Summerset fault.TequilaFire wrote: »Everybody wants to be an Altmer sorc hence the AD overpopulation.
This is now a nerf sorc thread. lol
I have to work, cant be in Cyrodiil most of the non weekend days. Clearly, some folk do not have to work and they live in Cyro.
I always thought that AD players who morning cap on EU Vivec are just some NA players who simply play in their "prime time" - but they log in to EU server. They also have a tendency to disappear close to EU prime time...I have to work, cant be in Cyrodiil most of the non weekend days. Clearly, some folk do not have to work and they live in Cyro.
Yup there is that, this is why the running "joke" is that most people who aren't ONLY ep are just unemployed lol I do stress this is supposed to be a joke.
Cyrodiil needs the attention that classes get. There is no PVP class rep and the only changes that get introduced are just shoved on us without any consultation. We don't even have a broad description of ZOS's short, medium or long-term goals for Cyrodiil.
I don't recall anyone asking for any of the recent changes to siege damage or resources and keep degradation, but those are the changes we got.
I do see a lot of threads about faction imbalance and the effectiveness of night-capping to win a campaign. Complaints about the reduced D- ticks. Poor rewards. Oh yeah and performance but that's a given.
ZOS have 4-years worth of data on what their game engine can handle and it's clear that the current state of Cyrodiil doesn't meet the original design goals. They really need to go through every aspect of the game mode and come up with something that will work. The current policy of using duct tape to patch things seemingly at random isn't working as can be seen from the continuing decline in player numbers.
I want to play large scale objective based PVP with decent performance. ZOS if you can't get Cyro to work well, then build a small island with 6x outposts 3 keeps have it 50 v 50 v 50, have 8-hour campaign lengths. Be creative build something that you know will actually work well.

mWhat is happening with Cyrodiiil, ZOS?
I'm referring in particular to Vivec on the PC, EU Megaserver. It's not long after lunchtime - mid-afternoon in Europe and the campaign looks utterly shocking.
One Alliance is pop-locked (AD, as usual, no surprise there (they disappear when the other 2 Alliances are locked and/or if they don't have Emp), the other two are almost flat-lining.
I know I'm "preaching to the choir" but for a supposed top-class MMO that was actually sold on the pretext of "MASSIVE ONLINE PVP BATTLES" - this is so very disheartening for your PvP population - Remember us? We LOVE the game just as much as the PvE and RP populations and if you just made some improvements to the servers (not fake, false "We're working on it but no ETA...") and addressed the issues of server domination by any Alliance taking advantage of the broken, lop-sided mechanics that favours PvDooring, you'd see many, MANY players return; after all:
THEY QUIT BECAUSE OF THOSE REASONS.
I know it almost 4.5 years since launch and it's been asked before but....
Why are you letting this happen and what are you going to do to try and fix it?
Will you even try to fix the problems? We are well overdue some PvP TLC!

Most of AD players are Legolasses btw, not Sorcs ... We could certainly use more Negates.
I’m curious whether there is anyway we can get insight into what the eso player count, and secondly, the pvp player count is? I’m guessing “no”, but just curious.
I play on Xbox NA, myself. It seems OK, we are typically pop-locked every evening. Sometimes guildies comment that the game is dying, or that new players aren’t joining, and I’m just curious what other folks think.
Thanks in advance, either way!!!

EP won their first campaign since I moved over from Sotha Sil (Azura's Star) over 12 months ago.
So ONE campaign vs 12, AT LEAST. I'm sure longer serving Vivec players will say it's much more than that...
