Well you see plus, or + is to add.

So when there is a ESO+ thread, we must add, as such more threads are made.

Yup, it's not the first time and won't be the last time people argue about how other people should be making choices either.

Gone are the days of let others make their own choices on how they access a game.

I mean... I think that's how ESO- would work right? If ESO+ costs money and gives content, then surely ESO- would give money and take content!

Company is to blame as it’s not an addition to the game, it’s been made a requirement to play the game. That’s what the recent discussions stem from.

Being the state and quality of the game is so poor, you’ll see this more and more

    Fixed that for you!

As for the title of the thread...

I think the overwhelming majority of the active players, which overlaps heavily with the active forum people, are subscribers of ESO Plus, and want to be subscribers to ESO Plus. That makes it a Big Thing™ when a subscriber decides not to. So, they socialize about the decision, some trying to bring others along with them down a more lonely path, while others are hoping to be talked into rejoining the herd.

But, it is early, and I am tired, and I have crazy thoughts at this time of the day...

The requirement has literally nothing to do with crafting bag. So many use this as their reason but my comment stems to the overall issue. @JesQu

When the leader comes out years back and states that a subscription is necessary to have good content for their business plans, and in the same breath says they removed the required subs due to console release....

Fast forward, so they are intentionally developing the game with gaps that “require” ESO Plus to fill as there’s literally no option to buy outright...it’s more than any crafting bag concerns.

The quality, content, features, bugs, platform to platform gaps, etc are the actual concerns I’m mentioning.

Not yet it hasn't, it has a lot of very beneficial bonuses which are frustrating not to have, but we're not at the state it's required yet.

Other games only let you earn x number of dungeon items, or partake in x number of battlegrounds/raids before your weekly cap is hit.
Some also lock all end game and progression behind subscriptions giving only basic access for free or B2P members.

ESO+ has got some shady parts (Housing limits) but it's far from mandatory to play the game.

Sure they're making it to a must have, but also changing the items it has to offer.
