Maintenance for the week of April 6:
• [IN PROGRESS] ESO Store and Account System for maintenance – April 8, 9:00AM EDT (13:00 UTC) - 6:00PM EDT (22:00 UTC)
Dear Zenimax, I don't want new DLCs, I want... [personal game improvements wishlisht]
I'm on the side of we need tons more content... This should never stop, mind you I've been playing since beta 2014. I can understand new players have tons of content already but need a little of everything to keep all players happy.
TENTH ANNIVERSARY - Thanks for sticking with us for 10 years.

I want to be able to kill a small animal and it not slow my node picking down. I want a Barber Shop in game. I want more long hair for men. I want underwater and sky gaming. I want pvp separated from pve so my pve nerfs are not pvp related. I want ESO6-single player instead of remakes of Skyrim.
Very nice request. Especially the admission of a selfish rant. Much better received than the usual rant purportedly coming from the whole player base which in fact expresses one persons individual perspective.
ts not just graphics, its also just the use of assets.
the vanilla base game zones need an overhaul.
The Dungeons and the DLC have more thought, effort, time, and resources put into them.
If you go back and watch advertisements for ESO from 2013-2014. They almost entirely show off the dungeons because they know that the dungeons were some of their best work.
So they need to take the amount of effort that they put into the dungeons, and DLCs, and put them into the vanilla zones.
The art direction that they shifted to should be applied to the base game.
Look at the vanilla motifs. IMO They are bland, generic, and uninspired.
Places like Falkreath Hold and Selene's Web actually feel like forests rather than empty plains with some trees spotting the landscape.
The rocks in Vvardenfel and other DLCs are far superior to the ones we see in the base game. The DLCs actually take environment and tone into account when world building and creating assets.
For example: why do almost all the zones, save for CWC, use the same skybox? The sky in Morrowind in comparison to Skyrim should look different. They have totally different climates.
Here is a shot from an early trailer showing a red sky. Have you ever seen that in the game?
I don't see why they cannot work on both - new content, QoL features and so on. Not just all at once. New DLCs are important to keep players who are not so interested in a nice polished body interested. As far as I can see ZOS tries to balance all those developments but surely can't please everyone.
Why is it the character models in the crafting windows look awesome and detailed compared to the same character before and after starting crafting? Seems to me, they could use the improved character models the whole game.
Curiosity is the cure for boredom, there is no cure for curiosity.
I both enjoy the new stuff like DLCs while also struggling to keep up with existing, previous content. Fracture spine limits my time at the keyboard, so I am essentially a Casual player, focusing on PvE.
That said, my Wishlist includes updates to Character Creation such as more customizable beards, more distinct eye and hair colors, a greater variety of voices, and improved creation options overall. It would be useful to choose a variety of armor styles in the Creation Preview UI, rather than old, default three options (Basic, Ultimate, and no Armor. No armor is helpful when applying body markings, etc., which are totally hidden with armor donn
A small selection of Templates for the Race & Class options when creating a new toon would be welcome, similar to the Templates used for PTS.
FY8, I've played ESO continuously since early PC Closed Beta with virtually uninterrupted ESO+, and am Co-Founder/Co-Leader of one of the first permanent Player Guilds (The Elder Sages' Guild, founded August 2013)..

Character creation desperately needs an update. The pics in the OP clearly indicate why. There are other reasons as well.
Male character models look a good deal older than female character models at the same youngest setting. Add a setting for males that corrects this.
Make it so that ALL skintones, eye colors, and hair colors are available for every race. Why? Because even though the lore states that a child will appear to be the same race as its mother regardless of the race of the father... it also states some traces of the father's race may be evident. So there's no reason why a Breton whose father was an Altmer COULDN'T have the golden skin. Simply place these options in a second category from the ones actually assigned to that race so that people are aware of the difference.
Add MORE hair and makeup options to character creation rather than making every tiny little thing a crown store item. Or, at the very least, create packs of makeup and and hairstyle options that, when purchased, will now show up for use during character creation. And for the love of the Divines, get someone who actually has a clue to design them.
PAWS (Positively Against Wrip-off Stuff) - Say No to Crown Crates!
Definitely agree with the account wide keybinding.
I would also like to see some of the DLC dungeons be given a solo option.
Also fix the quests, especially the main alliance lines where you are suddenly left wondering where to go to next. A quest can suddenly just finish and there is no clue at all what to do next. I shouldn't have to ask UESP or Google which NPC to speak to next.
I pay ZOS monthly for new DLC. No DLC, no sub. Do every bit of the OP's stuff and I am still gone if no new content.
And who says there would be no new content if they miraculously decided to start looking at improving the aged basics of the game?
Don't look at world in black and white only.
You are aware there are different dev teams working on different parts of the game, yes?
