New Player Complaint - revisited
I posted a while back on how bad the combat system in the game was. I did not even get to 50 on one char before giving up... this is from a new player perspective.
So after cooling down A bit I went and gave it another go. Took two chars to 50 and 4 alts. Cp around 190.
The combat system is still fair at best. Its like the game is trying to be twitchy and dynamic but only kind of gets there. The animation cancelling really screws with you. Did the attack go off? Did it not? Then there are those moments when you have to click a skill 3-4 times to go off. Sucks when its a heal.
Big annoyance is having the heavy attack mouse down and nothing happens. This happens alot.
Annoyance - why does everything have to snare you into combat?
Really Really Really big Annoyance - Bot Trains. The same train is running at the zoo in summerset since my first day in game. His cp is in the 500+ range now. There really is no excuse for this to be allowed in any game. I don't get why this is allowed.
Pve content has pretty much no challenge.
Well I enjoyed Magpler and mag sorc. Disliked the other 2 classes. Leveling stamsorc right now and its okay.
Posting before I leave ( feedback )... Poe Delve is on friday and its back to the races.

1. Animation canceling isn't necessary for your lvl atm and you are not forced into doing it.
2. something must be wrong on your end.
3. as far as overland goes, you must be doing something wrong if something lives long enough in combat to snare you.
4. agreed, zos needs to do something about this.
5. go to dlc dungeons and also trials for a challenge, the questing is meant to be done at any level but I agree that its trivial as far as how disappointing it is to kill a big bad in two hits that was built up as some big monster.

Ravingar✭✭✭Sounds like lag to me. Skills not firing, heavy attacks not working. And tbh, thats probably more on your end than the games. And in regards to having things snare you, interrupt them before they do. And yeah if you want a challenge, try and solo a public dungeon or do dungeons or even trials (but you’re probably not good enough for that yet)

There's nothing wrong on his end, skills simply don't work when your use them and you have to press them multiple times just for it to go off. Many people in my guild experience it, as do I. Happens all the time.2 -

He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.***Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis0 -

✭✭I'm getting the combat issues too... press my mouse button and sometimes there is no Animation and it fires, sometimes it wont fire at all.. And about 50% my heavy attacks will pass right through the enemies or target rodents and vermin instead.. Even with the red glow and target hud over the enemy..
Its been happening a lot this last month or so now.. The light and heavy attack addition really screwed up the game imo targeting wise..
All staves do it..3
