Should I change race to Argonian?

So, I main a magDK.
Currently a Dunmer, and a vampire too.
I enjoy DPSing, but I'm not too good at it.
With the same char I also tank and heal and PvP.
Due to the disparity of queue times and role availability, most of the time I play as tank, which I also enjoy.
Only recently I started healing, too.
I like being able to doo all roles with the same character without having to undergo respecs .
But it seems my performance in everything but PvE DD would improve if I were an Argonian. Even then, I'd have better sustain... which may actually improve my performance (I'm bad at rotations, anyway).
I already have a change race token (from back when it was on sale), so that's not an issue.

The right question would be: "Do you -want- to change your characters race to argonian?"
Because the point of the game is not playing the most super-effective combination, but what -you- have the most fun playing!
If it feels like it could be fun for you - do it.
If it might just be effective but doesn't feel like you'd have fun with it - fugeddaboudit.5 -

✭Argonian is definitely the best one for tanking, but High/Dark Elves are best for DPSing. It's not that big of a deal really, just save your token for later when you really want it.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭OtherRace change isn’t going to make or break any of those roles. An argonian will make a better tank in general, but if you remain a vampire dark elf might still be better. And you can still pull good dps as an argonian If you like. So unless you’re pushing towards top tier in any of those roles specifically then it doesn’t really matter. Argonians make a pretty decent all around race I suppose.1 -

Not quite.
From Dunmer to Argonian the net change is:
Losses:
-6% Stamina
-6% Magicka
Flame damage -7%
Ice & Shock Damage: -2%
Flame resist -2079
Lava damage taken x2
Wins:
+9% Health
+5% Healing done
+5% Healing received
Potion passive: 4620 of each resource on drinking a potion
Poison resist +1485
Disease resist +1485
Swimming speed +50%
See? No changes in regen. Actually, sustain is a lot better as an Argonian due to the potion passive.
The Healing and health boosts are great for all roles, specially for a health tank.
As for the reduced resource pools... welll switching to Argonian may enable me to switch from Witchmother's Potent Brew to a Health+ Magicka food, which would lower the gap if needed. For other roles... sustain is more important than resource pools, that's why Argonian is BiS...Hold. They probably buff to stars another race and nerf the old one for money grab anyway
No race passive changes during the last year...
And I don't think Murkmire will nerf Argonians.
That'd be... kinda sad. As if Summerset had nerfed Altmer...0 -

I'm not even trying to get better at DPSing.
And actually, Dunmer is already BiS for PVE magDK DD.
But I rarely get the chance to play dungeons as a DD due to terrible queue times and such.
So I prefer tanking but I still want to be able to solo stuff like easier dungeons and world bosses...0 -
