I won’t be getting it this month. I will be flying home for a week and won’t be able to log in. What a shame.
100k isn't a lot. You can easily make that amount in 1-2 hours of farming.
And more enticing login rewards are needed if you want people to log in every day.
Where do you farm that lets you make 100k in 1-2 hours? Because that sounds difficult to me.
Maybe if I got really lucky with drops. Otherwise I'd like to know where you go that lets you consistently farm that much in an hour. That would be useful information.
Raw materials. Just run around any zone at max speed picking up everything. Prices are down on all mats due to botting, but you can still easily make 100k in less than 2 hours.

If you get lucky with wanted over land drops then you can make that much. Just sold a golded out nm staff for 300k yesterday. So if you were farming deshaan pub dungeon or any other place with sought after sets then it averages that much.
Otherwise just farming a pub dungeon nets you around 20k an hour, sometimes more depending on drops for your merchant. It use to be much higher per hour but ever since they swapped to invigorating it took a hit. Unless of course someone found a super secret farming area..
By the way, instant respawning chests/heavy sacks are still in the game. I haven't been to the new place but as of last week there were some active.

Lol this just makes it more obvious that this games population has already been eclipsed by bots & to try to rack up a "healthy" game flow to please shareholders... they bring this event out. As a poor PvP player I'll probably take advantage of this but playing ESO lately or even turning it on has become a chore.

The rewards are per account, not per character. So unless there are a bunch of people with 10 accounts, I'm not too worried.
Even if you could the economy is already *** with multi-billionare trade guilds running everything and average Joes having nothing
No they don’t... Trade guilds are made of average joes
Good god it’s like you never even tried to interact with a trade guild before
Go join one, sell your extra mats, extra motifs, extra gear, it’s that easy
I'm in trade guilds. I love them in the people in them. But sometimes I'm wary of where the donations and such actually go.
As I said before, this can be account locked money. So no sharing among other accounts. So mule accounts have no use for this.
Also how does it hurt the "economy"? That would mean people are BUYING more stuff. So vendors can sell more stuff because people are buying more now.
Kinda funny watching some people panic over 100k.
Which you can easily make in a few days just selling stolen goods.
Or in a single day selling stuff on a guild trader.
Or doing dailies.
And you have to log in for 28 days in a row to get it.
And if you miss just a few days at any point you're not getting it.

You mean you don’t already know they go toward trade fees? Because that’s where they go. They probably also go toward your main guild house full of set stations so everyone in the guild can freely use them for master writs.
Are you actually active in that trade guild, talk to people, visit the guild house? Or do you have it muted and only ever interact with it to list items? Because currently it sounds like the latter >_>
I don't like when game gives players raw gold as a "reward", but I'm sure that 100k gold will be useful for many players, especially new ones. Veterans usually have already millions of gold sitting in banks.

I"ll have to try that then. Maybe get me some swift jewelry with the speed mundus. Thanks for answering.

More disturbing would be botters logging into hundreds or thousands of accounts and collecting a billion gold at the end of the month. That's what would upset the economy, not a very small number of players with multiple accounts. All other rewards have been bound to the account so no worries there. This is the first time a completely unbound reward has been offered. ZOS needs to be careful about the edge cases.
