Can't start the game - vcruntime140.dll error

Hey folks,
Pretty frustrating trying to launch the game for the first time in a long time, got this error message when pressing play:
"Can't start program because vcruntime140.dll is missing from your computer."
Been searching for answers in order to fix this, but can't find any solution that works. I really don't want to uninstall the game and reinstall it, feels like a huge waste of time.
Any ideas?
