100k Gold login reward.

I don't get why some think this will change anything. I know some players that can sell 100k in an hour. It's chump change to them. For the first time ever, I have 1.5 Million in my bank. Storing up for the next motifs that will be PVP/trial only so I can buy them since I do neither of those things. I don't think the 100l will do nearly as much damage to the economy as the motif event does xD

Myself, I like the crate rewards the best, but will happily take 100k to store up :)

Zos's attempts to pursuade people to log into their game. If free 1500 AP and 150 gold won't work, they just go up drastically. Don't log in next month guys, then maybe next month we will have 1 million gold and gold tempers.

Yes it is sad that ZOS decided to increase the reward to 100,000 gold.
I wouldn't be surprised if they will increase the reward from 100,000 gold to something greater in the future.

It's cool, I dont mind having this and it surely WONT change anything in market.

It affects nothing, the hoarders and crafters already have millions. If you play for over a year you already are over 1M, maybe even 6 months players have over this amount.

But for newbies, this will be huge, the bank cost increase and bag storage takes away your first million.

You don´t like it, then dont log that day and let it pass. And stop trying to ruin other people gaming experience, I wish I had 100k when I started playing, so I surely appreciate this gift from ZOS.

I'll probably get the 100k. And despite having played for over a year now I'm sure I'll have good use for the gold. ;-)

I'm not so sure that I like the idea of 28 days out of 30 giving login rewards. I don't have anything special planned for September, but if anyone is on vacation or whatnot they'll probably miss something with only 2 days left to spare.
So while I appreciate the generous gesture, I'd prefer the system to go back to 23 or 24 days of rewards per month.

Aside from that I really like the daily reward system as it was handled so far !

It’s just gold, not a big deal if you miss it. If they put a collectible (costume, pet, mount..) at the end of month, that would be a different story though.

100k seems a bit excessive. Are they really hurting for log in numbers that bad to give away that much gold?
I would surmise the answer is "yes". I guess potions, poisons, and soul gems just wasn't enough to pique people's interest to log in.

Oddly enough, I find the Crown Crates to be the most interesting. I destroy everything I can, and then use the gems to buy motif pages.

A damn way faster than playing the game, that's for sure.

Its a nice gesture and stuff, i really dislike the 28 out of 30 days part.

More years ago than i like to admit, i was playing cabal online. That game had special events only on specific times a day. I slowly started to reschedule my real life around those activities (mostly by skipping classes xD). Was living with my brother at the time, couple days after i informed him that we have to move dinner from 1900 to 1800 so i can go to nation war, i realised that the game was trying to take over my life. Dropped the game and never looked back.

I like this game, and im trying to play as much as i can anyways. Its slowly moving into the direction of "im going to holidays for a week, i will have to bring a notebook, so i can login once a day and grab trash i dont care about in order to be able to grab the good one at the end of the month". Given the "quality" of the majority of the rewards, it feels less like "login rewards" and more like "punishment for not login in for 28 days in a row". I dont like that.

Would be better if rewards wouldnt be cut at the end and just shift into the next month. New "month" starts as soon as u finish a reward set, still 24 rewards/month, but u dont have the week at the end where dont get stuff and u dont miss out if dare to not login for a weekend fishing trip.

I wasted 30 mins of my life writing a pointless post over pixels in a mmo. I think i just lost the prestige title "adult".

First the gold reward is laughably small, then it's too large. Can people not just be happy?

I agree, whatever we get is better than nothing. But I also do agree with 500 gold is too small and 100k is too big. Like, 10k gold for a login reward isnt that decent? Why they jump from 500 to 100k it doesn't make sense.

Exactly. 100k is a nice for a new player to be able to buy/furnish a decent small house and move out of the free broom closet. Why must everything mean the sky is falling?

I'll get it for sure... for the last 2 months I have been left with 8 days of nothing lol!

100k is probably about 2 days of average income for me, but overall I'll take it happily.

Are people honestly worried about this? The players who care about gold have far more than this, and the players who don't won't get much mileage out of 100k. It's gonna cost more than that to respec you skills soon, right?

I mean, most players who don't even care much about gold have several times that amount, because once you've been playing for a while it just accumulates. I have like 1.5 mil just because I do writs on 5 toons and I usually just farm for my stuff anyway, but I like to have options.

Would we be having these discussions if it were 25k gold across four different days of the month? I'd probably just claim it and do some very casual trader shopping. I don't see it as a lot of gold once you start spending it.

But I'm really looking forward to the rage threads on September 4th when people didn't read the article and blew off the entire Labor Day weekend.

Meanwhile, the costume is a bittersweet reminder that WINTER IS COMING.

This damask twill jerkin is a favorite this season for skalds across Skyrim, and you'll see them strumming in it from Riften to Solitude. "Pair it with a warm tunic underneath for maximum versatility," says designer Jork of Windhelm.

1 per account for the whole month. Just doing 8 x daily writs you make 35k per day. So in 3 days you make this amount.

I won’t be getting it this month. I will be flying home for a week and won’t be able to log in. What a shame.

100k isn't a lot. You can easily make that amount in 1-2 hours of farming.

And more enticing login rewards are needed if you want people to log in every day.

I'm not overly worried about players logging into multiple accounts to collect the gold rewards. More disturbing would be botters logging into hundreds or thousands of accounts and collecting a billion gold at the end of the month. That's what would upset the economy, not a very small number of players with multiple accounts. All other rewards have been bound to the account so no worries there. This is the first time a completely unbound reward has been offered. ZOS needs to be careful about the edge cases.

I'll bag 600k with my accounts! I'll be riiiiiiich! Oh wait, that's less than half of my regular monthly income.

To put it into perspective, a hoarder like me with 6 accounts to mule all my junk will only get enough to buy half of the Hunding house.

    100k is nothing.

Then you obviously wouldn't mind sharing

There has been several times when I have purchased or made items for my guildies worth hundreds of thousand in gold. I remember one time a guildie mentioned to me on teamspeak that he was drooling over a sharpened viper dagger but he just couldn’t afford it, so I went out and bought it for him at around 250K. You want to know the secret?

    1. Make 6 or more alts

    2. Level each one to max level crafting

    3. Do crafting writs daily to get gold mats

    4. Sell mats on guild stores or zone chat

    5. Profit

It’s not a big secret, all it take is a bit of effort. But you seem to just want to get on the bandwagon that all guild traders are evil capitalists. Really, what it comes down to, is you just don’t seem to want to put any work into making gold.

    100k is nothing.

Are you on PC or console? I can see this being done on the Xbox. Not sure how the PS4 works. But on console that would mean you had to buy the game 6 times. No matter what way you look at it, I say it's worth it. After all that is a lot of logging in and out. You deserve it for just taking the time to set up the accounts and also if on PC buying the games.

I am not saying this is wrong. This is my opinion. To me that is not fun. I tried it with the max characters the account let's me. Trying to level up the horse abilities I find no fun logging in and out. I tried it for the "mules" and just found it more work. Work I am not getting paid for. So I stopped that as well. If I am going to "work" I want to be paid for it. I come to video games to play, not to work.

So for people saying this will ruin the economy and is easy, I say what crack are you smoking? To do this, it takes playing time away. To do this it takes work. While it might not be strenuous work I find it funny people who don't want to pay for ESO+ and do this work (not saying this poster is doing it) to get "free" space. Nothing is free. You are paying hydro, you are paying internet usage, you are paying TIME. So for anyone to go through all this, I say they should get their 100 000 gold coins. You are paying one way or the other and might as well get what is properly rewarded.

Also we don't know if we can give those gold coins away. They can be account locked and only spent on that account. So no giving the money away for one account can buy that House or expensive item. So unless you are playing all those characters, the mules will not be able to give that money away, IF IT IS THE CASE.

I'll get it unless something terrible happens with my health or my computer. I logged in every day before they put in these daily rewards so it's really nice to have actually established a habit in my life that pays off. ;D 100k is about what I make doing two days of writs with all 15 of my toons, so I can feel like I won't miss out if I skip a day or two, that's also nice. I'm not so into Nord clothes but maybe that one will look nice dyed and I'm NEVER sad to get free costumes, costumes are awesome. And Wild Hunt crates were what was running when I joined the game, and I didn't get anything then, so it'll be nice to get some gems from a different variety of crate, or maybe the one Apex mount I'll loathe (the bear) since Pacrooti and the RNG hate me so hard.

That is what I thought at first, BUT the free crates mean nothing if given too many times. It becomes expected and not special. After the third free day of crates it was for me at least not a big deal after getting 4 free crates on then the next 3 days only one. They were given away too many times.

I would like to see a free crown crate at least at the end of a "week" a 7 day period. If doing a 27 or 28 day period make a 30 day period the bonus 5 crates.

If you get lucky with wanted over land drops then you can make that much. Just sold a golded out nm staff for 300k yesterday. So if you were farming deshaan pub dungeon or any other place with sought after sets then it averages that much.

Otherwise just farming a pub dungeon nets you around 20k an hour, sometimes more depending on drops for your merchant. It use to be much higher per hour but ever since they swapped to invigorating it took a hit. Unless of course someone found a super secret farming area..

By the way, instant respawning chests/heavy sacks are still in the game. I haven't been to the new place but as of last week there were some active.
