I like to level slowly. I sub but don't want the extra XP. Sorry if I don't think level 50+ is the best place to be!

I think the issue might be fast gain of xp in general? The boost from plus is a contributor but if you enjoy a slower pace from 1 to 50, perhaps a request for a full stop on xp gain might be closer to what you want? Like the ability to put all your xp gain on hold for a while. I can see potential issues with it in sub 50 pvp areas, but those areas already have lowbie stacked pro players as it is.

No, Level 50 is not the best place to be at all! But CP780 is, until Murkmire.

These kinds of comments generally come from PvP players who never graduate from non-vet PvP ... because virtually no one likes leveling a new character at a slower pace.

Ok then, well there is the CP levelling, or alternatively, level up other characters, but regardless, there are few enough benefits on ESO + without taking away the extra xp, so your idea will never ever be implemented.

I have 8 level 50 characters and 684 CP on one of my two accounts. I prefer the lower levels sorry if that offends anyone

@Lirkin I don't think you can stop the +xp from ESO+, though it is not too much in my opinion. I do sympathize with you. I too like to level slowly. By the time I get a char to 50 and they suddenly carry that CP780 stuff by their name, I really want them to be very solid in their game/role/char before they join my other chars at top level. Especially when the char I'm making is a big departure from what I'm used to. For example, made my first tank not too long ago and even though he jumped instantly from 50 to CP780, I still feel I have much to learn with him. I'm currently leveling my first NB and same thinking - I'm in no rush to advertise as a CP780 when I feel like I'm still trying to figure her out. I don't mind the small ESO+ xp bonus but I certainly destroy any/all xp scrolls I find.

Even though this thread makes it sound like it, you're not really alone in your preference to level a bit slowly.

The early levels go by fast by design should slow down say lvl 25.You could try activities that don't give as much xp as say grinding. That's all I can think of.

Eh, I don't find that I level too fast. Of course, that's because the quests in this game (the MQs in the various zones) aren't anything I can complete - my lag is a real problem, so I get about a third of the way into quest lines, and then I can't get beyond whatever.

So I've got some early-20s girls, and for a while (probably a long while....) that will be where I am. Then again, I'm really happy to just cruise.

You are not leveling anywhere near to fast. No player is even close to the CP cap.

OP, they widened the xp slope (and spots) when they introduced xp potions and ESO plus. It's about the same - if not slower than it has ever been.

Why not ask for an xp debuff scroll (with every activity that normally grants xp, you will now lose xp) in Crown Store Crates.

This oddly seems like a behavioral issue in which a person dreads growing up, it is either the fear of getting responsibilities that were evaded in the past or perhaps the fear of being judged.

Life is all about going forward, but then we have individuals that prefer to go in the opposite direction, at best these people are distractions, but then there are those who deny progress to all others around them.

I'm very grown up and retired. I worked many many years. Have a family and a good Career. I would not be in a hurry to grow up and get old if I was you.

I hear what you are saying OP but the logic is flawed. Who cares what the others think, I will run any of my cp780 chars even if I am terrible at their roles. I play the game the way I want to and it’s the other people that have to deal with me, not the other way around.

Roles was not the best wording. I tank with my tank and deal damage with my dps and so forth. I just am not the best at it especially when I’m switching through alts, however, I still have fun knowing I’m not the best and the rest can shove their elitist opinions.

I also feared lvl 50. When I hit max level in other games I suddenly loose all interest. However. I have 650 cp and I haven’t even scratched the surface. I haven’t finished one dlc completely, I haven’t done Cadwell’s gold. I haven’t seen all of what I purchased by a long shot. Don’t worry, you can still have a good time filled with wonder, amazement and challenge after lvl 50.

Lots of people want to level lock. Especially those that want to stay in the under 50 campaign.
