So... Dawnbreaker for night blades too now?

Seems like the damage + dot + cc + ae for the same cost essentially makes it pretty clear.

Are there contrary opinions? I guess the ability to just use the damage portion more often could be an argument? Seems at 120/125 dawnbreaker is far superior though?

Was it a bit overdone on the Nerf? I don't mind switching on my night blades but I liked the uniqueness of incap... I'm no expert but it kinda feels like it maybe be a bit less cost... Maybe kept the full effect but increased the cost to maybe 90 or 100? Just seems side by side with dawnbreaker now not to be worth it.... Any other thoughts from people more experienced?

I still use Incap, it depends on how and why you use your ultimate, was the cheap stun the only reason you used it?

It still does the same amount of damage just as quickly.

Well... It is a large part because it is the main form...I suppose there still is stealth plus surprise...I liked the simplicity and of course the cheapness... Just wondering what other people's take/opinions/what they are going to do were

Incap was/is so ridiculously good bordering broken an adjustment was welcome. The fact you can have a debate about switching to dawmbreaker of smithing now is proof it was maybe too good.

So we should nerf Take Flight then since they're comparable in cost, and yet I have no debate which is better.

I was already using dawnbreaker, fix to incap changed nothing..don’t get me wrong incap is still good but it needed to be toned down

DB Fits my playstyle more, someone that mainly ganks will still benefit from incap more

Not debating either way... Things are what they are... Just trying to get a feel of how others felt and what they might do

I'd definitely consider using db more now.

If you are solo go incap

    If not go db.

At least people wont random roll as i go to ult them causing me to waste ult.

The aoe, 20% dmg to vamps/ ww's, dot, aoe cc and 3% wpn dmg is better i'd say.

    PS4 EU DC

    Current CP : 756+

I have every character level 50, both a magicka and stamina version.

RIP my effort to get 5x v16 characters...

It's still useful in PvE content and in PvP anyone that was smart knew to dodge Incap anyways so the stun was pointless there unless you caught them completely unaware but that was unlikely. 9/10 it was more effective to Fear > Incap so regardless, it's a minor change that doesn't affect anything important.

Incap is still better at 70 ult if you stun a different way, the damage amp helps kill tanks and nuke people. Its less good at potato mashing since that is usually get the most out of as little abilities as possible.

    The stun was quite useful.

It's very good in small scale when i could cloak into a heavy/ incap for high dmg to burst important targets like squishy healers or snipers in the back. It basically let me get a heavy, incapm light and surprise attack in 2 global cooldowns. And was cheap enough to wear i could do this repeatedly and often enough for the tactic to be useful.

But now i suppose i'd just be better off and dropping db's in a group like every other stam class in the game now.

I still prefer Incap because of the 20% damage bonus. You can still stun with Surprise Attack if needed.

Nightblades still have the best reliable stun option in the game with Fear going through block/dodge, Suprise Attack from stealth and Incap still. How many more stuns do you need? Dont be greedy

I prefer Fossilize, but yeah fear is a good CC.

I use Incap on my front bar and DBoS on the back bar. It's nice to have different options for different situations.

Exactly. Incap is really good to kill tanky people due to Major Defile, while DBoS is a great AoE stun.
