Yes it’s eaay but some people aren’t good enough to solo it. To the guy waiting for the helm, it’ll be faster to just queue for the vet and hope you get the weight/trait you’re looking for. It’s as simple as saying in group chat “lookingmedium/or heavy infused Troll King”

TBH I think it has one of the hardest final boss fights to pug (when compared to other base game vet dungeons).
The rest of the dungeon is ***-easy, but that last fight can be kind of a mess if people aren't coordinated or on the ball. It's not hard, exactly, but not straightforward either.Thrice Empress, Forever Scrub2 -

@Enkil these don't really "cycle" in the same way that the Luxury Furnishings do. the sets seem to be randomly selected each week, and one week it's shoulders and the next week it's helmets. i'm not sure if the jewelry alternates necklaces/rings in the same way. it was a little weird recently because Midyear Mayhen changes the rules for 2 weeks, but otherwise that's the only pattern i know of.0 -

I tried running infernal guardian on a mag sorc for primarily experimental purposes and it was one of the most cancerous things I've seen yet.
You are shooting flame balls left and right, a completely skill-less tactic. And they rarely hit your preferred target because the set will target the person furthest from you which is usually just some random person. It really was annoying to run
You will really rack up the damage with it though and it would have some benefit in a 'brawl' or possibly large scale type setting. I would recommend to slap it on someone who is running a damage shield build who isn't that potent with it on their own, they'll rack up damage by merely shield spamming.
I maintain Zaan's is the best damage monster set for a mag sorc. There are other things that can be run as well.1 -

I wouldn't run it in PvP because the fireballs are slow and telegraphed and anybody with half a brain can move out of the way... unless you are in the middle of a zerg scrum. But in PvE they are fabulous for taking out ranged casters and archers if you don't have an easy way to chain them in. Try it out in Maelstrom Arena or a solo pledge and see. Infused weapon with Hardening enchant, Brawler, Bone Shield, Back (or front) bar Resto Ward, Reinforced CP skill + class shields will make it proc like crazy.

I saw it recommended to run in PVP and I can't say I agree with that. There are plenty of people who thinks it's a good idea.
It would only have a niche use in PVP and would b better suited for someone running a shield stack build who isn't actually that good at the game.
I've tried it in limited amount in PVE, will have to check into that more1 -

I have all my monster sets, that being said some of us aren’t in a good time zone and as a dps that means over an hour que if your friends aren’t on or guildies won’t help..and that’s for a random which is far quicker than selecting the dungeon you want
I know i know make a tank or healer..nah I’ll just go back to pvp, i won’t grind something i don’t enjoy
You may not understand what some of us go through just to find a single dungeon, has absolutely nothing to do with being bad2 -

This is what i'm saying to i've never been able to get earthgore since mostly all i do is pvp or grind for gold when i knew that it was being sold in the golden i got a few of them for my Templar now maybe the helmet might show up in the golden that would be awesome lol1 -

You can easily get shoulder or helm!
