SO. My understanding with Rearming Trap, is that it is supposed to immobilize the enemy for 6 seconds after the initial trap, then spring again with the same affect reapplied for another 6 seconds. Furthermore, my understanding of Flame Lash is that if you strike an immobilized enemy, they should be set off balance, allowing for you to strike the enemy with Power Lash. However, I felt like Power Lash was never getting procced against the dps test dummy. To test this, I set the trap, and only used Flame Lash for the entire 12 seconds Rearming Trap was active. Not a single Power Lash. Am I the only one with this bug on Xbox 1 or am I missing something?

Dummies are immune to CC effects including immobilizations technically so you can't proc Power Lash unless you set them off balance with lightning blockade. They changed it a few patches ago.

You'll need to do this on an actual target for the reasons mentioned above. For these kinds of tests, I find that any troll is good, they've got enough health to live for rotation or two.

The trap will allow you to proc the Power Lash but keep in mind Off-balance has a cool down, so once you hit them with a power lash, you consume the off balance status and will have to wait 20 seconds to be able to set them off-balance again.

In trash mob fights, it's pretty easy to proc power lash several times in a row by targeting a few different enemies but on single target, it takes practice. If you are good, like @Xynode is with his magDK, you can proc the whip twice on a single target but you have to be very quick as that final whip is right at the tail end of the off-balance and if you are just barely off on your timing you miss the power lash and hit for a normal whip.
