This place much like so many others really do feel like they could use some work. It would give me no bigger pleasure than to exterminate all DC soldiers still throwing fireballs at farmer corpses and dead animals. Permanently.

Any location when we clear the boss/enemy/quest and the NPCs comment they'll just take a few moments now to eliminate the rest of the zombies/trolls/walking bananas left behind.

Fast forward a few months or even over an year and they are still just moments away from clearing the infested area.

The removal of mobs would however result in a barren place with nothing to do or kill. They'd have to work it in a case to case basis.

I purposely never progressed this quest line on any of my main characters. I did it on my first toon who is now my crafter. I like being able to go back to this village when it is still intact. But yes I agree with OP we should be able to rebuild our war torn villages

Because there is no way to rebuild Bleakrock, I just game the game. I never go into the Captains House, so the attack on the town never occurs. I do all the outlying quests, and leave the town quest unstarted. So, I always have a peaceful Bleackrock.

I'm just amazed at the quality of that Nord wood.

Bleakrock has been burning for -YEARS-, with no signs of slowing down.

Nord Oaks. Can't beat 'em for long-burning warmth during those cold Skyrim winters!

I would pay "chapter cass" for this to happen. After 5k hours in this game I sort of fancy housing and such these days. I want nothing more than a little place to call home in Bleakrock Village.

It's always bittersweet after talking to Captain Rana and heading up to that tower knowing that when you return, the charming little village is going to be in flames perpetually. Bleakrock is the only starter island players can't really revisit in peace for crafting, banking, soaking up the atmosphere, etc.

I propose a DLC focused on the restoration of Bleakrock Village, with Hozzin's Folly and Orkey's Hollow redesigned into incredibly tough Veteran dungeons, and Skyshroud Barrow being turned into a 12-man Trial complete with a Dragon Priest end boss with punishing mechanics. Deathclaw's Lair can become a World Boss location, and Last Rest transformed into a PVP Battleground inside an ancient Nord tomb. 30 hours of quest lines and new skyshards and skill points for completion as well.

If ZOS is going to do it, they should do it big time

It should not be a dlc, a lot of place need to be repaired.
