Stamplar is generally considered to be in a better spot than stamDK this patch in PvP--but if you are making characters based on what is strongest right now, prepare for disappointment in a patch or two when balance shifts.

    Can't speak to PvE, personally.

There will probably never be a Stam whip. But yes I agree

You've picked the two weakest classes for a stamina character but rn stamDK is in a better spot, especially for pvp. stamDK's rely heavily on dots and lack an class execute, so if you want an executable skill you will need a 2h.

As far as PvE, both will be overlooked in serious group content in favor of a stamsorc/blade.

But if you're just running relaxed group content and solo overland, a stamDK will do you well. It's got a pretty easy rotation as well.
Drathus Delenu- Dunmer magDk: Shehai Shatterer, Mageslayer, Stormproof, Peak Scaler, Clockwork Confounder, Orderly, Master Wizard, Cloudrest Hero, Undaunted, Dragonstar Arena Champion
    Thoronir Rolston- Breton petsorc: Stormproof
Zaakazha-Redguard stamblade: Boethia's Scythe, Clockwork Confounder, Maelstrom Arena Champion, Dragonstar Arena Champion

    Scrubs:
    Justinius Maximus Decimus- Altmer magblade
    Agronak gro'Mashul- Orc DK Tank
    Valerya Hawkcroft- Breton healer
    Zaaka- Imperial stamDK/crafter

I know best dps stamina class is nightblade, but i don't play it.So you suggest stamina sorcerer is better than stamplar and stamDK? Why?

Great synery between its passives and physical dmg. Access to a AoE dot as Hurricane that also do dmg. Better stam management with Dark Deal.

Though they lack a class spammable

If you want to go stamina with one of those two and play both PVP and PVE, the clear answer is templar.

In PVE, everyone knows stam NB is the best. That said, Templar is not all that far behind, and to be honest, it's ahead if you arent really darn good at this game. Stamplar has a complex rotation, but it is static and circular (other than the opening). I dusted my stamplar off over the weekend, and I am already hitting 44k (Self buffed, no major fracture) on the 6 mil dummies. It is the only other stam class you will see in really high end raids. 60K+ single target is doable in a good raid (the best are actually breaking 70k). You also bring a really powerful debuff to the table with PotL, that most good groups will thank you for. I am having a lot of fun on my stamplar.

In PVP, everyone (with a brain) knows stam NB is again the best, but any class can be effective in the right hands. Stam DK is admittedly on the lower end of things at the moment. Stamplar is a really powerful class, especially in small scale and duels. They can create excellent pressure and can utilize some of the magic templars bag of tricks when they need to (things like a cheap purge). I play a lot of mag sorc, and stamplars are my toughest counter. They pressure shields and purge away my burst combo.

Some people will also bring up stam sorc. I love my stam sorc and frankly wish they could out DPS a stamplar, because personally, that is the class I would like to play in PVE. They just arent going to make the cut in the best of the best raid groups. That said, a good stam sorc in an average group will be top of the DPS charts. They have great AOE, great stats, and awesome self heals. I believe they are the best class to learn how to properly play melee (stamina) in a raid in PVE. In PVP, they have good sustain, and crazy mobility, but they are pretty vanilla otherwise. You will end up relying on weapon lines for your damage for the most part.

I actually think there is some bad advice in that post above. Stamplars are absolutely in the best raids in PVE. Usually just one or two, but they are there. The DPS is not that far behind NB (but it is behind), and groups want Power of the Light for the debuff. Stamplars are def stronger in PVP as well. They simply have a better toolkit to work with. If I ever decide to get really into dueling, stamplar might be my pick.

10 gold on the DK. wait... this isn't a barfight bet invite?

On a serious note: Stamplar is getting shaped up atm ... which doesn't necessarily mean, when you are done with leveling, fetching skill points and leveling all guilds as well as cyro, they are still in a good shape. :D
My impression is raw dps is a little easier on a stamplar compared to a stamDK atm... however standing your ground (defence) as well as combat control mechanisms are probably easier on a DK.

In the end I would suggest you pick the class fitting your favoured type of playstile and matching your abilities best. I.e. if you are sitting in the rather-slower-movement departement, you would probably be better off standing your ground and gaining control in combat before pulling of your best dmg. If you are fast in fingers and mind and don't mind drawbacks due to clunkyness stamplars might be the way to go.

Anyways as stated before NBs are probably the stam-class pulling most DPS atm, which may or may not change till you finished leveling, ofc. They are not easy to play, but lack the inert clunkyness of templars... for most parts I heard.

    Good Luck and have fun.
