How has ESO influenced your real life?

I play with my wife at ESO since the beta and we love sharing this activity together and having talk in public that only us understand about ESO, like gear, event, donjon etc... that is a things that contribute to bring us closer.

Played MMO since EQ2 and ESO is the best universe, and even with all the complaining that we can have about it sometime, remain the best dynamic combat system I,ve seen since many years (but I will still miss the combo system of AoC for those who knows)

And just saying I saw last time a group of people unloading a truck at my work, it was a complete mess except 3 guys that were super organized and doing most of the job, I thought.....Again a premade

Not counting the new chapters and DLC for this game I haven't bought a new game since 2015.*

*Not true, I did buy two games, I just don't play them. One is still in the plastic wrap. Never been opened.

I was at a conference at work and arguing with a coworker over the validity of numbers for a report.

I won the argument and then jump up on the meeting table, walked up to where he was sitting. and sat down right on his face, over and over again. I then told him to get good.

My boss took me aside afterwards and told me that he was proud of my display of office dominance. He said i really fired up the office. Or that I was on fire. Or something like that.

Thanks for all the replies, everyone! I was a bit nervous posting something that wasn't a complaint.

It's nice to know that I'm not the only one that has let a computer game become a part of my everyday life, and not just when I'm playing it.

Ummm... Nope.

It's a game. Not real life. In the game I kill things and occasionally steal stuff.

I try not to kill things and steal stuff in real life.

Using shadow image on my nightblade has not only taught me how to effectively "juke " players in the game but ive taken the evasive mentality a step further and started juking work more often cus money is overrated, eso gold is what matters more

Mine does. I simply explained to him that Wednesday evenings after work are for Guild Officer meetings, and Friday night is scheduled PvP night. Everything else is negotiable, but Wednesdays and Fridays are "me" time. I also bought him a brand new PS4 and TV for the other room so he leaves me alone. It generally works.
