Maintenance for the week of April 6:
• [COMPLETE] ESO Store and Account System for maintenance – April 9, 9:00AM EDT (13:00 UTC) - 6:00PM EDT (22:00 UTC)
Back in the day before 1T, dolmens could be very difficult to solo. Especially if they were a higher level than your character. My main, still a stamplar, CP 30-ish soloed a dolmen in Stormhaven, which was in my silver zone, so had a CP level of 70, iirc. I didn't die once. When I was finished, about 10 players were standing around the dolmen using the clap emote. I selfishly hit the final pinion and took all the rewards for myself. I was really jazzed. That was the toughest fight I had been in at that point.
More recently, my main, now a Tankplar, got her first 1v1 kill in Cyrodiil. I found a sneaky little stamblade hiding in a keep we had just taken. The rest of the group had gone out to take the resources and I stayed behind to finish repairing the wall we had come through. I was shocked. I was literally standing right next to him when I noticed him. I attacked and it was a fairly long fight as my tank does very low DPS. Every time he ran to the top of the wall, I was able to knock him back into the keep. Dizzying Swing, ftw. I eventually prevailed. He was my 100th kill of the mayhem. My main has a few more solo PVP kills to her name now. Mostly in BGs. But that first kill was was epic in my mind.
Well, I'm really new, so my "ESO career" is short at the moment. But - I have to say getting my warden through Daughter of Giants was really a boost. My lag (999+ EVERY minute of the day in game - no I am not kidding) means that damn Ancient Clanfear might be telegraphing stuff with red on the ground - but my girls haven't the time (and I haven't the reflexes any more) to get out of it - and for some reason, Lyris doesn't seem to grab aggro.... I was hoping that would be the fix after I read up on it online....
After that, I got through the next few quests just fine - I haven't even attempted Halls of Torment though after reading up on it - lag's a killer.... and then of course, you're dead. Over and over again.
Still, that's on me, not the game. And I'm really enjoying ESO.
1. getting Empress, after 5-6 months of preparation (it was my second attempt) and thereby getting the Platinum (PS4) trophy for the game;
2. finally completing VMA back in April this year... on an ADSL 2+ connection.

Helping out my guildies in general. I love my guilds.
ALL HAIL SNUGGLORR THE MAGNIFICENT, KING OF THE RNG AND NIRN'S ONE TRUE GOD! Also, become a Scrub-scriber! SJ Scrubs: Playing games badly to make you feel better about yourself.
Grand Master Crafter the hard way. xD No time scrolls used, just my own hard work and earning gold by selling crap dropped gear to afford the Nirn traits back when they were higher priced for research. OwO
Beating Skoria on vet for the first time. It was a big deal for me and probably the greatest challenge I faced still. (I haven't done Trials).
I've beaten him a few more times for a couple more masks - but it was the first time that was so special because I queued up as DPS in dungeon finder, found a game within like 2 minutes - we were doing alright, but the vtk our Tank and so I accepted. we had to do a hefty chunk of the dungeon as 3 man which sucked hard, especially on the bridge where the Xivkyn or daedra just keep spawning indefinitely.
I had subpar DPS, but it was all my guy could do, we struggled, but eventually we pulled through. The Skoria set changed my life after that too.
"You must defeat me every time. I need defeat you only once"
I feel like my best moments all happened a long time ago. Back when like Skoria came out. Since then I have noticed a wash of friends coming and going.. so I have not had a solid group of people to voip with while we do new content and stuff.. Now days it seems to just be filling for guilds etc.. not as memorable.
If you ever get the chance to meet the dev team, do not pass it up. They're a fantastic group of people. That whole trip was utterly amazing. And it did introduce me to a whole segment of the community that I'd missed.
I know there's a lot of chatter on the boards about how we've got a toxic community. Some of that's deserved, especially here, but I've taken anything from the trip, it's that we can turn that around. When this community is working together, it's a truly amazing thing.
The best feeling I have ever had in my ESO career? Running through Cyrodiil with 0 bugs for a whole minute! Yes, a whole 60 seconds people! Be jealous!
Fairies are invisible and inaudible like angels. But their magic sparkles in nature.
1 getting 8 toons to v16 before Tam1 and they are the best toons I have!
2 getting to 1 mil in bank "and will never do the flower run in coldhourbor again:)"
3 my house!
All crafting set stations yes all 44 sets x 4 and all done by myself by gold and or crafting writs then managed to get all 13 mundus stones by donations from my main guild and ingame gold. This would be my hardest thing to get and took me about a year to get comptley.
Starting up the game for the first time after installing Morrowind. The cinematic took me completely by surprise. That music from TES III, and the voice of Vivec, they had quite an effect. That was the best feeling I have had playing ESO
Being part of Legendary Malrog Emperor defense back in the end of 1.5 patch, the defense at Ash was truly epic!
Owning a trading guild with @LegendaryChef and maintaining our Craglorn spot for months on end back in 2015/16, won a guild war as well during this time.
Best feeling I've ever had was on my Sorc tank in PvP back around a week or so after launch. I was pushing the Aldmeri dogs back across Alessia bridge and I stood my ground at the small doorway in the front, CCing anyone that advanced and silencing hordes while the Pact soldiers pushed on through the one-way gate I had created. This whole while, my boyfriend was right behind me ensuring that I stayed topped off.
Interestingly, I recently spent a month in jail on false charges and one of the guys in my block was an Aldmeri that fought against me in that very battle. He still remembers that *snip* Dunmer that refused to die.
Since then, I've had many such fights. They'll never be as great as the ending of that amazing three hour push across the bridge.
