And no, the second most difficult skin in the game to get should be a huge concern. These cosmetics are only special because they are exclusive. If you let people glitch it then the special rewards cease to be special and players and guilds will not be motivated to progress the content. Casual players may not understand this but every MMO needs a healthy end-game. Not policing your most difficult content and allowing it to be cheesed is a direct threat to the heath of your end-game content. Especially when you have worked hard on several platforms doing trials with your guild and others, only to watch what should of been a challenge be a giant let down~

Nope. Making content easier is the fastest road to making the game unbearably boring. If people want an easier game, they can go play Candycrush or Pokemon. This is a game made by adults, for adults, and it's not for people who can't handle working toward an adult challenge.
Come on, the same can said for those seeking validation from challenging content, go play dark souls or nioh. This game was made for casuals and gamers who play videogames for fun and not self validation. nAS is plenty of challenge for the casuals and rewards them with an asylum weapon.
There is no need to make vAS easier.
Also as someone who is in a vAS + 2 progression group, no one is in it "for the skin". That's NOT the motivation. It's a nice thing to get at the end of it all, but doing the thing IS the reward for doing the thing.0 -

This is what I don't understand. People are complaining about exploiters getting a skin, but then have zero issues of someone paying them in game gold to acquire the same same skin.
If ZoS intends to do "something" about the exploiters, the same punishment should be applied to those who got paid to "carry" someone through a vet dungeon.
The "we earned it" isn't a justifiable defense when people clearly are upset an exploit is preventing them from exploiting those willing to pay gold to run a trial.
Third party observer here as I've done neither the trial or paid to carry someone through it.
I find it troubling these egomaniacs are demanding ZoS do something about it while exploiting those who can't do it for themselves.

Eh. Hate to burst your bubble, but it was made for TES fans first and foremost: there's a ton of lore and the majority of content consists of quests. Not all TES fans like faceroll gameplay (just check how popular "hardcore" Skyrim mods are), so we have veteran group content.
And there's nothing wrong with rewarding players for completing different tasks. You get dyes and boat furnishing for your fishing achievements, quests reward you with mementos, and dungeon/trial achievements give you skins. Hell, even Skyrim has achievements and rewards that require a bit of effort (killing a highest level dragon, becoming a thane in order to get a house etc).

You really don't see a difference between getting carried with sub-par DPS though a trial where the trial is completed legitimately and getting carried with sub par DPS through a trial where the trial is completed via an exploit?
One of those breaks the Terms of Service and Code of Conduct.
The people who break the Terms of Service by completing a trial through an exploit are going to be punished for breaking the TOS by exploiting. Its got nothing to do with how hypocritical you think the people complaining about exploiters are.

I wasn't advocating for anything of that nature. My post was a rebuttal to his claim that casuals should play candy crush. How many players participate in challenging content in eso is so easy to look up on consoles. Not even in the absolute slightest. I am mad because people are glitching probably the second most difficult PvE fight in the game for the rewards and nothing is being done about it. I do not sell carries for the trial, as far as I am aware of only one guild that does it on Xbox NA which is why the price is so expensive.
And no, the second most difficult skin in the game to get should be a huge concern. These cosmetics are only special because they are exclusive. If you let people glitch it then the special rewards cease to be special and players and guilds will not be motivated to progress the content. Casual players may not understand this but every MMO needs a healthy end-game. Not policing your most difficult content and allowing it to be cheesed is a direct threat to the heath of your end-game content. The same people who are trying to fix the bugs with summerset are not the same people who would go and look for people who exploited the trial so they can worry about both at the same time I would imagine.
I am not a casual player in the slightest~ I just feel you are over reacting and I don't believe that one guild is selling runs, it is definitely more, I know it is. Though Zos does not have an issue with selling skins so there is no point pressing it but I have no sympathy for these complaints at all. For I have seen way too many trial guilds cheese their way through Vet Trials that it honestly is just a sad joke. Especially when you have worked hard on several platforms doing trials with your guild and others, only to watch what should of been a challenge be a giant let down~
Honestly they should make the Vet Trials easier for the masses, so it would discourage sales and cheating. If you're good then you should enjoy that, want a challenge then don't bring 12~

Nope. Making content easier is the fastest road to making the game unbearably boring. If people want an easier game, they can go play Candycrush or Pokemon. This is a game made by adults, for adults, and it's not for people who can't handle working toward an adult challenge.
Come on, the same can said for those seeking validation from challenging content, go play dark souls or nioh. This game was made for casuals and gamers who play videogames for fun and not self validation. Unbelievable.
nAS is plenty of challenge for the casuals and rewards them with an asylum weapon.
There is no need to make vAS easier.
Also as someone who is in a vAS + 2 progression group, no one is in it "for the skin". That's NOT the motivation. It's a nice thing to get at the end of it all, but doing the thing IS the reward for doing the thing.
I wasn't advocating for anything of that nature. My post was a rebuttal to his claim that casuals should play candy crush. How many players participate in challenging content in eso is so easy to look up on consoles. It is not a majority here by a long shot.

Not really going to discuss what was or wasnt said as its really not my position to do so. I feel if they wanted the community to know they would have said something publicly by now.
