Guards in ESO

Ok, this might not bother anyone and might bother only me. But anyway, I'm confused as to why Guards are literally immortal. I would've thought they would be more like normal npc's where they can die and then they just re spawn. Like we can pickpocket them and my vamp can feed off them just they cant be killed? Like if your caught by a guard and they start trying to kill you, unless you are in a unpopulated area or a very open town your basically dead no matter what. Its starting to get really annoying. Anyone else feel the same ? EDIT- The main issue for me is when im doing the dark brotherhood quests and using blade of woe. I will be killing a npc and another will come round the corner just as i do it and i end up with like a 500 bounty , its so annoying because i will be fully hidden and use blade of woe but somehow another npc will see and i instantly get a bounty :/

You’re about what........two to three years too late to the beating a dead horse argument. Get used to it bud lol.
"And it's important to state that our decision to go with subscriptions is not a referendum on online game revenue models. F2P, B2P, etc. are valid, proven business models - but subscription is the one that fits ESO the best, given our commitment to freedom of gameplay, quality and long-term content delivery. Plus, players will appreciate not having to worry about being "monetized" in the middle of playing the game, which is definitely a problem that is cropping up more and more in online gaming these days. The fact that the word "monetized" exists points to the heart of the issue for us: We don't want the player to worry about which parts of the game to pay for - with our system, they get it all."

nah there needs to be consequences for actions. Guards being able to kill you provides that consequence.

There are some things you can do to get away from guards even in buildings and well populated areas. Guards will run around most things you can jump over or down from. For instance if you run upstairs in a tavern and then jump down the guards will run back towards the stairs. That gives you time to get out the door.
Outdoors any water you swim in is a free pass. Jump over fences and you get some good space between you and the guards. Get far enough away and they give up the chase.
and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."

Hmm never tried feeding on a guard. I feel inspired, but got to do it where there is water around. (Guards are afraid of water)

There's a set to reduce stars. Maybe buy a set of cowards gear too? Guards are their for balance.

I agree with that and i think they should be a stupidly high level or somin but like i dont see why they need to be immortal. I get you can outrun them but when your trying to get somewhere in a town its an annoying inconvenience

It would be hilarious to see a group of thieves and assassins steam roll into a city, kill all the guards and steal everything

I wonder if two crimes where committed in same area who would the guards go after?

In my limited anecdotal experience, whoever is closest. Or whoever committed the crime even a fraction of a second first. This is assuming it's for the same type of crime. If someone steals from an owned box while someone else murders someone in public, they go after the murderer. This last one I know from experience... I've used "distractions" like that before in Vivec City.
