Dungeon finder story 9001: kick for a lack of vMA bow

Queued for a random vet with my Nord stamDK that used to be a tank but was gathering dust because I made an Argonian a while ago, so I redid him a bit 2 days ago to make him a passable werewolf DD now that that's popular with this patch. I get into vCoS with a bunch of people barely above CP300. Then the conversation goes:
Tank: vMA bow?
Me: Who, me? No, didn't feel like farming for it... again.
That's all it took, I got instantly kicked. We didn't even get to kill the first trash pack.
I just really didn't feel like farming the damn bow with that RNG in the 2 days I had this char set up, considering it didn't even drop for me during the double loot event, and the 2 bows I have from ages ago are used by other chars that are not werewolves, and might actually need them.
And in case you're wondering, I'm CP capped (approaching 1k), did that dungeon a million times (hm/no death/speed run, all done on other chars, as both tank and DD), and my DPS on that char is 25k without WW and 29k with WW form. I know, not stellar, but for that (or any other) dungeon it's more than enough, and fat chance of them finding someone better in the queue at 2 am at night.
So I guess the moral of the story is, with all the threads of low CP people complaining about elitism of those at CP cap, here you have a bunch of CP300 elitists who would kick someone because they disapprove of a single item someone is using, without questioning if that one item would even make a difference with the given build.
And @ZOS , in case you're wondering how to fix that... You can do it by reducing RNG or by making sure no single item is so strong that it's a must have for virtually every build.

✭I wouldn't have minded explaining mechanics as I'm one of those CP capped people who supposedly don't exist and are actually happy to help. And I'm pretty sure I could also carry while WW form is active. So them not knowing mechanics isn't an issue for me.
But you're right, it is in my favor as I wouldn't want to help people like that...1 -

My usual pledge partner is a hell of a tank, but runs no bow at all. Would end up quite cute when they try to ditch him with me on board.
Would love to see the next ethernal ditch tie: Once we ran into these filet DDs, got everything you would demand: no DPS, no sustain, no knowledge. We could not ditch them, they could not ditch us. They started some meaningless talk like *why don't YOU leave us? it is our dungeon as well*
Well, we left them. Just the dungeon, not the group. Instead of letting them troll us, we did some pickpocketing/killing in Vivec. While they repeadetly died in that damn Wayrest 1 (yes, it happened THERE), we posted every house motif page we stole in chat. This lasted 3 hours and it was damn ...

I queued for random Vet Dungeon, got put in Scalecaller Peak. I have the title that shows I've done it before on vet, I had my VMA Staff showing, and I'm CP 698. And they literally just up and kick me as soon as I get in there (no fighting mobs or anything).
I'm just glad there's no longer a penalty for this type of bs like it used to be.5 -

Little did my PUG-fellows know that I had more CP behind my toon than the other 3 of them combined. Let's all just be glad we got kicked by these guys at the start of the dungeons, and didn't have to waste any more of our time sharing their company.

✭✭✭✭✭If all three of them voted to kick on the basis of a lack of vMA bow, you are definitely better off not in that group. You saved yourself 4 hours of failure with them by the sounds of it.10 -

Once I was kicked from normal dungeon for very fast clearing (I think that). I was at mag Sorc, just steamrolling everything in the dungeon, barely stopping only at bosses. Other groupmates was under lvl 50. And after 2nd boss they just votekick me with no words

They want to get carried so they look for a PUG in the dungeon finder at 2 am? They must be very smart if that's the case.1 -

IF YOU QUEUE WITH YOUR BUDDY PLEASE MAKE SURE IT THE CORRECT VERSION. THIS HAS HAPPENED MULTIPLE TIMES WHERE TWO PEOPLE ENTER THE PUG DUNGEON ONLY TO FIND OUT THEY DIDN'T SET THEIR QUEUE TO VET.
Said two people usually have a quick convo in chat and then leave. Thanks buds I just waited 20 ish minutes for this dungeon only to have to either A.) leave and requeue or B.) wait until the activity finder fills the spots.

✭✭I've been lucky so far and never actually been kicked, even when I maybe should've been - like when the random put my baby level 20 magblade in normal fang lair. They were kind enough to let me tag along!
Always amazes me how quickly some people will vote to kick without even giving people a chance. Most recently was a normal mazz, me and another max cp, one guy nearly 700cp and a 20cp. Was a vote to kick almost as soon as I'd loaded in, hadn't even had a chance to notice who was there. If one of them didn't think we could carry one low level through normal (we didn't carry him btw, he did very well), they should maybe think about whether they should bother to play themselves! ✭Did vet COA1 in a PUG once.. right at the start one of the DDs voted to kick the lowbie. I refused. Another VTK. Refused. A third. After that refusal the DD instigating the VTK left. We got a replacement and finished the dungeon just fine.
Honestly, some people... smh
