WW questions

With the new patch I am having a blast with WW. Currently on my stam DK - hulking/automation equipped with a 2 hand axe. DPS is about 25k on boss fights.
What armor sets are other WWs using? PvE and PvP?
Does weapon passives carry over in WW form? I have not noticed heavy weapon bleed while in WW..

Weapon passives do not carry over to werewolf form. Dw nirn main w/poison enchant, off hand infused w/ weapon damage enchant is best in slot for dps wolves.

Bloodmoon is amazing for pve werewolves, as is arms of relequen. Kena works best for in form werewolf dps.

I run a 2h heavy build and like Dreugh King Slayer for the weapon damage and crit, plus perma Major Brutality (allows you to take the stronger heal morph) and the Major Expedition you get when killing an enemy. Jewelry and weapon I run Briarheart for the extra damage and crit plus the free heals. Monster set I'll run Infernal Guardian with a Hardening enchant on an Infused weapon for clearing packs of enemies, Selene's for bosses.

This setup is good enough to solo some vet dungeons, although you can't really maintain the form against bosses that don't summon adds. Play your CP cards right, and you can have ridiculous damage/healing/sustain with the werewolf. I like Pack Leader, the wolf pets are very tanky now... you can pretty much just chain Fear public dungeon enemies and let the pets handle them if you wanted, lol

I'm using 5 Blood moon, 5 relequen, 2 Selene (I will use Kena in future). Pulling decent damage - around 60k on rakkaht and that's without other werewolves feeding me the empower synergy.

    Seriously?

I spend about 2% of my time sprinting and 98% pouncing or fighting. And the only magicka spell on my werewolf bar is the heal, and it's my least used.

actually, just looked it up again, and a few people in the thread were saying its good, and alcast agreed and has a werewarden build using it.

I suppose if you have issues with stamina recovery it could be helpful. Personally, my bar never gets below 50% at any time, even spamming light attacks for a long time. And one or two heavy attacks will fill it right back up. Between the Pursuit passive, the stamina regen bonus for having WW slotted, Mooncalf and Tenacity CPs, and the stamina regen from the heavy armor passives (also available to medium armor users) and the availability of stamina/stamina recovery glyphs.... no one should ever really need to trade a damage bonus set for a recovery set, in my opinion.

I assume you two are talking to eachother from opposite ends of the game, PVP werewolves have an absolute need for magicka sustain. Also they spend a lot of time sprinting from spot to spot. Prisoners is a great set for werewolf pvp.

    Pve... not so much

Yeah I could see that, being Defiled and cost reduced all the time. I don't PvP much (lowly Veteran rank), and was indeed looking at it from a PvE standpoint.

well i was testing diference betwenn molag kena and selene sets on ma temp WW ( ravager + relequen sets) and i found here is nearly 0 dps diference betwen using selene or kena. With kena is problem this skill cost increase in harder dungs when you need use self heal ass WW i normaly have enough resources for 2 heals in row, with kena up i have resources only for one. And well as WW you are alwys on mele range then is not problem with selene procing on ranged :)

Try to swap out Ravager for Bloodmoon and you´ll most likely see that Kena will outperform Selenes, not by a huge amount but it will be a difference (at least for me it was)

Does this mean it doesn’t matter if you use blood moon DW swords vs daggers or even a 2H weapon? It will all be the same Dps in WW form?

Do you use 7 medium or 6 medium and 1 heavy?

It doesn´t matter if you´re using swords, dagger, axes, maces etc. The weapon passives doesn´t carry over. Most likely for balance reasons. Same thing goes for sorcerers using overload.

However there´ll be a DPS difference between dual-wield and 2h since you get to use an extra enchantment when using dual-wield.

i know but problem is bloodmoon set and kena is *** when you yre in human form. Well in most of dung its not problem when group is not afking bt on trials its huge problems bc you spend lots of time in human form and need do decent DPS too. And with my luck i will be farming bloodmoon weapons atlast half of year, dont talkabout how much like my gold ravager jewelery :D
