Whats the quckiest way to earn transmute crystals? I know there is the daily Dungeon reward. Seems when I get my rewards of the worthy from cryodil its only ever gear pieces. Do these ever come up in the crown store? Would be nice if they lifted the cap of 200 to maybe 500. On my 52nd run in cloudrest for siroria gear in divines :s

    Rewards of the Worthy, Vet/HM Pledges, Weekly Trial Coffers, End of Campaign rewards. Just the ones I know of. The bulk of mine is earning 100k AP on my characters in Cyro and doing Vet Pledges.

    Where you say 100k ap, What do you mean is that when you get the rewards?

    I have not long changed all my lich gear and had around 20 left. I need to change 4 pieces which is 200 crystals seems like its going to take an age to get everything.

    Pvp a good way to farm. Usually the first rewards of the worthy contains a gold drop and end of campaign rewards too. 30 day gives 50 and 7 day gives 10 or 15. Each toon gets a drop too. Just have to reach tier 1 in in the campaign and you will get the drop. Think its the fastest way to farm transmute crystals.

    Best way is probably ticking off those guaranteed daily drops.

    -Open one rewards of the worthy box
    -Queue for the random BG
    -Do the pledges (even normal works if vet is too hard for your group).
    -Do normal trials and complete the quest (especially the mini trials are quick).

    ...

    The list goes on but you get the point. None of these activities should take more than 20 mins or so and all give guaranteed transmute drops. It's still not very fast, but the best way I can think of.

    Also make sure to be tier l on a 30 day campaign on ALL your chars, for those 50 monthly crystals on every character.

    Or put a hardening enchant on an infused resto staff, don your Infernal Guardian set, and run around spamming Healing Ward and launching guided aoe fire bombs on the enemy. :D

    I honestly think they should put these in the Crown Store, just like the Mimic Stones. The devs seem to forget that not every player likes this type of content, yet we would also like to be able to change the traits on our gear. Forcing people to run content we don't enjoy just to get a 'quality of life' item is NOT a good business practice. I'd be willing to pay Crowns for Transmute Crystals, they could add them to Crown Crates, or really be nice and give some away with the daily rewards like they're doing with Tel Var stones!! @ZOS_GinaBruno

    A lot of people pull all their toons through a 30day campaign (just have to reach reward tier 2 I think), which can be done in a day if you take the time. Then, when the campaign ends you get (number of characters) x 50 crystals. It's in my opinion the least grindy way of doing it, since it doesn't require daily farming.

    I PvP once or twice a week, for just a couple of hours. Between the RFTW boxes and End of Campaign rewards, I’m at 200/200 crystals and my inventory bags are full of Transmute geodes. I can’t Transmute enough gear to get rid of the stuff.

    Crystal limit should be 700, why 700, "cuz you could change all armor traits, plus 4 weapon traits and 3 jewelry traits all at same time.

    Tier 1...which is 25K AP...which takes couple hours at most....

    Pvp is the fastest and most consistent source.

    Rewards of the worthy coffers have a chance to drop anywhere from 4 to 10 crystals each. If you pvp for 2 hours a day, you can expect to get minimum 20 crystals a day.

    30 day end of campaign rewards drop 50.

    Compare this to pve where pledges only give a single crystal.

    A VMA clear only drops 5 crystals, which is insulting. Trials are the same I think.

    yup...at end of campaign you will get 50 transmute stones in mail...
