I didn't "choose" a class for crafting, I made a character I thought was what I wanted and made him my everything, and by the time I was far enough advanced with that character to feel like I can make an alt, he already was a crafter with 9 traits researched in everything.
If I made a crafter now it would be a magblade, or if the chars weren't just removed but we were restricted to having one ever, it would be a stamDK because I want to tank...2 -

I didn’t really choose my crafter either. Not in the way I would have. When I started two years ago I had 3 mains. It was when they introduced an exclusive crown store motif that can only be read (and therefore used) by 1 character that I had to make a choice between the 3 and consolidate all my crafting onto one character. 2 years ago they really dropped the ball in my opinion, in regards to informing us why having 1 crafter is best. They mitigated this a bit with the outfit system being account wide but at the time it was a do or die decision. If I had perfect hindsight I would have made my Imperial my crafter. And if they had the warden out 2 years ago I would have a warden main/crafter. As it is, they didn’t have all the choices I would have liked.
So actually yeah, I’d be a warden main crafter (either tank or healer). I’ve sunk too much money into my current main/crafter and he’s a mag Templar healer, not my most favorite playstyle but tolerable.Edited by max_only on August 17, 2018 2:55AM#FiteForYourRite Bosmer = Stealth

And she's a Dunmer stamblade. Which isn't a very good class for lag of 999+ - at least not for me, as I haven't quite got the pauses for global cooldowns figured out yet in combat. I know they're usually 1.1 second, so I try to pause for that, but then some of the spells are instant and I tend to have trouble figuring all that out. I've only been playing since late June. Back in time when I was mostly playing casually, stamplar used to be my main for longer time. I did a lot exploring of Tamriel with that one.
I also wanted to do all crafting by myself, I didn't always want to ask someone to craft gear and items for me.
I started researching all traits and went to pick up skyshards for getting enough skill points for being able to unlock every single crafting skill in the game.
Most of the time when I'm online, I still do everything with that character, which does not require end game PvE or PvP combat. 90 % of the time when I'm logged in, I spend my time on that crafter.
However if I could move my crafter's crafting skills to my PvP main, I would vote for mag Blade and keep that one instead, since that's the class I find most enjoyable to play in PvP.Edited by Fiktius on August 17, 2018 2:07AM1 -

Oh, so much this too.... I've been an altoholic since the first day I played WoW back in early 2006. So many races, so many classes, so little time! By the time I quit playing WoW I had 7 accounts, 10 toons each.... RIFT, I had 5 accounts, about 40 toons total.
Yeah, I spend all day playing - 8 am to around 4 pm. I'm retired. It's my hobby.1 -
