October-Best time in ESO, IMO.

I've been combing through my motifs as of late trying to find the most terrifying, menacing, yet awe striking looking outfit(s) to sport through October (Witches Festival). I usually change my motif daily during the event (helps this year with outfit stations) but this season I want to keep one a week. I know the specter's and other items are super cool, yada yada, but I want to get more creative with all that I have at my disposal (helps with many more rare dyes I've obtained this year too). To me the atmosphere in all factions of ESO during October is more awesome than usual! I will post some pictures of my progress so far later tonight....

Do you prepare with your own items each year leading into this event or just wait for what new motifs plunder skulls will offer?
Where do you rank the Witches Festival over other events during the annual ESO calendar?

I liked the Witches Festival when it first cam around as all the acheivements were to be had, but I found the subsequent years to be not as good. This year however I will be on PS4 NA rather than PS4 EU so will get to experience it afresh with low CP and poor armour :)

Yeah I haven't experienced it on any other server than NA. I hope you can enjoy this year! :)

I was disappointed with the Witches Festival because it basically came down to a very short quest and then farming pre-existing bosses for RNG loot bags. I preferred the New Life Festival which had a variety of mini games, it took longer for that to get boring.

But if they could add more variety to it then it could be fun.

Meh you can get drunk anytime you want, but dress up and go door to door asking for candy during any other month then October and you get the cops called on you.

October is the best time, period. I hope they pull out all the stops this year. I want things seriously spooky. Anyway, I would say that I prepare my outfits for October, but my toons are always pretty dark.

    This^

It's hard explaining to the cops why you're knocking on your neighbor's door at 3:00am dressed as a clown.
