Update 19 Fishing change

Fishing

Rare fish listed in Achievements will now indicate which type of water they can be found in.
Bait tooltips now indicate which water type they are best used for.
Fishing Nodes now display what water type they are in their name.
Used Bait is now marked as Trash quality.

The Hissmir Fish-Eye Rye has now had half it's use, the main part at that, removed since all can now see the waters type. This Holiday Achievement recipe needs an update to give it back a special use other than just making the fishing spots glow.

Hissmir makes entirely new fishing nodes that other people can't see appear still.

Even with half of the perk gone, the recipe still provides a sort of boon others without it won't get.

Fish eye doesn't make new nodes, that only you can see. It makes existing ones glow.

Yep. It's great for night time fishing...

Shame, but I guess one person's unwanted dumbing down is another person's desired QoL improvement...

Is it weird that I kind of see it as both?

Agreed, that was my first thought as well when I saw the fishing changes. Yet another useful thing rendered worthless due to the dumbing down of the game.

At least make the rye give you a slightly higher chance of catching rare fish/items or something.

They have made some foods have a increase in the fish yield. A unique change would be a chance to double the fillet results. It keeps in the tradition of the Argonian festival in that they want to feed as many as possible. This chance would also possibly grant two perfect roe if it proc at the right time.

BTW, I am convinced that Argonian means "steals fish" as they always want the holiday fish saying they will distribute them but you never get any cooked fish back.
