First off I’d like to say I’m glad to see the limited visitor permissions being added. I have an issue though that I’d like to see corrected. I’m on xbox NA. My residence is used for guild hall in me and my wife’s guilds. It’s fully loaded so if the default visitor permissions is set to visitor then anyone in the game can go there via traveling to a friend or whatever. Now if I set it to no access then only those that I have on visitor list or guild visitors can go there.....but every time someone new joins the guild they can’t go there. I have to go to my residence turn it to where everyone can visit then let the new member come on then turn it back off. I have to do this every time a new member joins either of our guilds. Gets annoying.

    Huh? If so-and-so is a member of X guild, why would you have to re-do it? That doesn't make any sense.
    Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
    Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
    Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
    Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

    Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
    House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
    Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

    Yep exactly. After they join then I go in and change permissions to visitor then back to no access then they can come in anytime. It’s like it doesn’t recognize the player as being in one of the guilds in the guilds I have set as visitors until they are at my residence.

    If you have granted access to the guild then that should be that. If your explaining it correctly that you have to essentially reset that guild access every time then it sounds more like a bug to be reported vs a QoL request.

    The description makes me think the guild roster is being used to set individual permissions, rather than the "is this player in guild" being checked. I.e permitting access to the guild just means that each current member is given the permission.
