Nightblade tank feature I would like to see

I am currently on console and with my nightblade tank I really like how blur can set mobs off balance with tactician. Obviously, tactician is broken and fixed. I would like to see this be a feature for say double take as the 4 second major expedition at least to me is not a big deal and it could even be a chance on passive dodge. I feel it adds a unique flavour to the role and choice between extra resist with one morph or setting enemies off balance with the other. Manly for pve, I obviously do not want it to cause pvp issues, so feel free to speak up about that aspect as well.

    Many people use the major expedition morph in PvP so I can't see that changing.

    I would like to see other unique abilities come to NB tanking tho, like where it's come the last couple patches :)

    Well they could leave it on there and add this to it. It might make it a better get away tactic. I have not been a fan of what they have added to nb tanking but, that is just me.

    Well all classes now have a resource sustain (meditate), AoE root (time stop), chains (silver leash) and NB's now have a burst heal (Dark cloak) which can be better than DK's dragon blood.

    8% damage reduction + 11% health per second (which CAN crit) and applies major ward/resolve. I run this in dungeons and trials. Especially nice if you use it the second before a heavy hit ;)

    Me neither, stamina would be another ability anyway due to lack of spellpower and for magicka I would probably go for siphoning - 2 birds with one stone (DPS + healing).

    I tend to use refreshing path for my major ward/resolve. If I did trials maybe I would go the other route but, I am not suggesting that the cloak heal be changed, just that I personally do not find it useful with no objectivity passed that.

    Yeah I run that also back bar with blockade but usually run 1 tank 3 dd, probably wouldn't use cloak with a healer in dungeons.

    Anyway I agree on more uniqueness to other classes (inc. nightblade) in regards to tanking, scene's still heavily dominated by DK's & Wardens due to passives and group buffs.

    I want them to get rid of the Fear Trap and replace it with a Fear-Pull similar to what Emperor Leovic does in the Imperial Sewers.

    That too, I found "healthy offering" much more efficient, keeps me more magicka for other tasks and still an awsome burst I get the feeling.

    As much as I love Time Stop, I do feel that NBs toolkit for tanking could be looked at, especially since so many passives and morph options are meh at best for tanking.

    Debilitate is a joke of a skill in comparison to Crippling Blast, even if it can refund the full cost and be an essentially free DoT. Siphoning is the de facto healer skill line for NB but Cripple nor its morphs offer any assistance in this at all. Having Debilitate offer Minor Lifesteal and Magic Steal would at least make it a uniquely useful skill to both NB healers and tanks by giving them some much needed group utility while having Debilitate have a reasonable purpose as a sustain tool (skill would have to be adjusted that the DoT would be greatly reduced, if not flat out removed, and duration increased to 12 seconds minimal to make it actually useful or we just have another lackluster skill).

    Power Extraction is also very lacking overall. Making it function like Brawler in that you get a damage shield thats strength is increased for each enemy hit would make the skill actually useful (granted Sap Essence is still very useful too but Power Extraction could use a buff regardless so why not open up more options for Stamblade Tanks as well?)

    Mirage could also use some slight love now that it can no longer proc Off balance via Tactician. I'd be fine if Off balance got built into Mirage's current effect but any buff would be welcomed. I would also like for Blur + Morphs to apply to party members as a base effect as well, offered as a synergy.

    Reaper's Mark could also benefit from a buff. While I won't deny Major Berserk and the bigger heal have a place in some content (vMA comes to mind) but in general the skill feels lacking. I would like it to apply Minor Vulnerability but I worry that'll push NB DPS numbers even higher so maybe something else that would benefit the group in another way. Maybe a 5 second Major Maim on activation would work.

    Finally, I'd like for the Executioner passive to apply on activation of an Assassin skill rather than killing the target so that tanks could actually benefit from it. As it stands, it's hardly useful as you waste more resource than you gain trying to proc it and while it won't solve the issue with the resource return being weak, it'll be more practical to proc for Tanks.

    You're spot on, sir! That is exactly what the lesser used Fear morph should be turned into.
