Running a "new" Warden tank last night, queued for Vet Spindleclutch 2. Got with a group, breezed through it, hard mode clear, so we stayed grouped and queued into Direfrost. It was my first run of that dungeon on that toon, and I got Hard Mode, No Death, and Speed Run achievements. Don't remember your GT's, but thanks for the group.
8-hr/day casual on Xbox NA. 20 Characters, all DC, all Level 50. +2900CP

There’s no such thing as a tank getting carried in a vet dungeon. However in a normal anyone can carry anyone since almost all normal dungeons you can solo.

As a tank, I usually wish I could just respec to full damage on the final boss with a lot of pugs. With weak DPS and slow break frees, you can spend 20 minutes with the health getting no lower than 75%. All it takes is one person out of stamina to erase a few minutes of damage from weak DDs.

✭It is a great experience indeed to get a good pick up group. I had one last night and further extended my friend list. One of the players was below 300cp but played quite well, I was glad to help them farm gear after pledges.0 -

Done a couple of pugs who has ended up doing all three, only WGT on my HM list however.
Grinding just make you go in circles.

Inexperience does not equate to having to be carried. They were able to run with no deaths and HM. Plus, as a tank, if you're being carried that means either you're dying constantly and possibly causing wipes; or you're needlessly dragging out the fight because you can't keep the boss in position and/or dying constantly. If DPS are good and they burn the boss down before mechanics become a problem, that doesn't mean they carried the tank; it just means that they did their jobs extremely well. Which to an extent means that the tank at least did their job fairly well.

I had guildies grief me when i started a vet non dlc hm pledge group and realised i was cp 138. They were like 'how are we supposed to do vet hm when you are cp 138 dps'
So i joined group finder, got a group with the other dps being cp 230, got all speed, hm, no death and conq achievements and posted in guild.
The cp 138 account may not be my only one... but still.
Just shows its not always cp that counts. And non dlc vet dungeons are easy.0 -

Can't trade worthwhile gear though- so that sucks :-( but yeah well done anyway!
This one stupid tank started tryharding and spamming vote kicks repeatedly on one of the easier vet dungeons -EH 1 vet, because one of the DPS was just over 160; he then left the dungeon but didn't leave group because we refused the vote kick; so I put on a taunt and healed and just halfass tanked and we got HM, speed and no deaths and the 'tank' who we could still see as he was still in group with us, died TWICE out wherever he was, and got a big Nothing for his efforts.
