Sets wise it goes (pair with Mother Sorrow) Siroria > BSW > Julianos

In fights with a lot of movement Julianos may be the better option as you will lose Siroria stacks and waste BSW procs. All are very viable sets to use tho.

EDIT: Scathing is also decent to be honest, only issue is the 20% proc chance is on direct crit, so that's:

• Funnel
• First hit from Cripple
• Light attacks
• Enchantment
• Merciless proc

At best you'll get 3 going off at once. Paired with Mother's tho it may rival BSW. If you have them all I'd still run a quick test

I never understood why people go with Funnel instead of Swallow. I always use Swallow Soul for the increase healing received. (basically I want more healing....no heals for others....lol)

I would say it depends on how you play and what you enjoy. I use Julianos and Sirorias. Sirorias is easy to obtain in the Normal Cloudrest trial. Cloudrest isn't a long trial either like HOF is. I also like to have a consistent damage output and crits can proc more one DPS test or less another so it really varies for me. I like consistency between DPS tests so I set for damage over crits and MS is a big crit build. But I am a casual player and I beat all the vet DLC dungeons too so it's worked well for me.

But since you don't have Sirorias and don't want to farm it, MS is a good alternative paired with Julianos. And if you have a Maelstrom weapon, have that on your back bar and double destro fire staff or one fire and one lightning. I like lightning staff because the heavy attack is an AOE and instant...no windup like the flame heavy attack.

I also have purple Julianos jewelry because farming for Siroria jewelry was taking way too long and I would have ended up with blue or purple anyways so nbd.

Mageblade is an easy and fun class to play imo and I love the class which is probably why I have 4 Mageblades........

Ugh. Good luck. My boyfriend still hasn't gotten the second ring (maybe it was the neck) of BSW. I can't even tell you how many times him and I two man that on Vet and get nothing.

@Kuramas9tails If you're both nightblades I think the boss on the right drops it unique and chests drop it. Just cloak farm the 2 chests in the dungeon, then cloak to the mini boss on the right and kill him.

Don't get me started on the inferno staff tho, weeks of farming it with 0 drop
