Having just purchased a couple extra outfit slots for my characters, I've found that when I attempt to have one of them with my Blacksmith outfit I had purchased from the Crown Store a few years back, it doesn't allow it to be saved in that one Outfit slot, instead the Blacksmith outfit overrides all other costumes previously selected.
