How reliable is this thing? I see the city the vendor is in, the name of the vendor and when I arrive there is no vendor by that name.....

This, the system work by sending guild store listings to an external database, this is used for building up the database you can browse.MLGProPlayer wrote: »DuskMarine wrote: »
The site wouldn't exist without the add-on. And the add-on doesn't monitor anything that it doesn't say it monitors.
This is usually due to something being listed in a guild store that is no longer attached to a guild trader.I have similar issue, not to often but it show me not existing guild names in that area.
It's a bit of a catch-22: on interesting or well priced items, the person who's PC uploaded the hit is often the person who took the goods home with them. But mostly i cant buy nothing, even is like 11min posted, there is nothing... maybe is Necropotence set special... but i stoped to look at tamriels site because it worth nothing to me, if i seek for only one set like three weeks and nothing... prolly will go and grind it by myself

But isn’t something like this open to abuse?.. it does not tell you if the item no longer listed was sold or removed from listing status which says to me that anybody (or even worse a group of people) could inflate average market prices by schil listing items, browsing the guild store so these items get added to the database and then removing them from the store. Over a period of time in demand items could be forced to be more expensive than they necessarily need to be and then the dishonest seller/s relist at what seems to be super cheap price all of a sudden and get the vast majority of sales.
also, it doesn't update listings in real time, there is maybe an hour delay? so there is a good chance that listing you saw was uploaded by the very person who bought the item.

Yes you are right LOL
I was probably looking at console lol
Thanks
Also keep in mind there's always a guild trader in the Outlaw Refuge
The main time limit is that ESO only saves data on /reloadui or logout, so any scanned listing is not available for the upload app until one of these occurs, so could be minutes or hours after the actual scanned data is even available to start this process

It is depending on user that scan Guild Stores and upload those prices to TTC server. Scanning takes time during which items might have been sold already. Each time a user interact with guild store game download a copy of database to client even without TTC add on, so that is how ESO work.
I haven't seen any indication on malware, so you could poster provide proof of this?

You need to provide some sort of evidence when you makes serious accusations like this.
