Orc dragonknight werewolf tank?

Thinking of making an orc dragonknight tank build for my next character. I don't know a whole lot about being a werewolf, but is a tanky dragonknight werewolf a possible thing?

If you want to be a tank, there isn't much point in going with WW - it's a skill line aimed at DPS. If you want to be "tanky" DPS (two very different things), then WW isn't a bad way to go. This patch, obviously, werewolves have seen an impressive boost to their capabilities. You can always run heavy armor and a sword n board (heroic slash gives more ult which = more WW uptime) but you'll take a DPS hit by not wearing medium and using dual wield or 2h/bow. Orc is a pretty good race for tanking too, but Argonian is the best option.

Well, you can’t taunt in WW form, so I’d advise against it. Not to mention ^^ - skills are dps based, so you can only really use it in situations where you don’t need to routinely block, but if that’s the case you might as well play a dps and not gimp your group with a fake tank.
DO. NOT. WIPE. (in game OR out!)

Pvp tanking might interest you more. Just transforming will drawn people's aggro. Also being a dragon knight you will be tanky without it, so a good balance.

For pve tanking what I seen or heard Ayers do is transform during trash pulls and help with do while drawing aggro. I believe guys with hircine priests had nice guide on it.

Note: frost staff and torrementor set don't work. I tried.

It's funny, because with the changes coming up ZOS is basically turning werewolf into a tank with no ability to taunt.

They're nerfing our damage, pushing us to stack max health, and even increasing the resistances WW form grants slightly.

@MooseKnuckles88 I do think your idea could work, you just need to be strategic about when you enter wolf form. In PVE it'll be great for clearing adds & on bosses where taunting isn't as important, and as others have said in PVP you'll draw aggro just fine.

For PVP I'd run this as support: Use your tankiness to wade in, breaking up groups with your roar and using claws/bleeds to put pressure on them, then let your allies mop 'em up. Could be great in battlegrounds with a coordinated team.
