Oh man, not another self indulgent post.
Someone having the same title, weapon or skin literally means diddly squat.
It doesn't diminish 'accomplishments' as they clearly aren't leaderboard runs.
I highlighted 'accomplishments' because we are doing this content on day 1 of it's release or close enough to, which doesn't exactly strike 'accomplishment' into anyones head, not mine anyway.
When this gets broken down, as it was before - All the people crying about some noobs glitching it are more than happy to let the same players pay xM+ to get a carry from them, but take straight to the forums when it's without them. That's the real discrepancy here.
If one diminishes your 'accomplishments' then so does the other to someone else.
If you want to complain imo, don't sell carries yourselves.
Tragic lads.
EDIT: I couldn't care less either way what happens to the glitchers.

I couldn't care less about someone glitching a cosmetic that you'd sell them for 10* more hahah - I'm just here calling out your fake tears.
You're genuinely upset that you aren't making money from carries, that's all this is about and I was just bringing it to light again.
You selling a carry to player-X does the exact same thing to other guilds who have completed runs that you're saying glitchers are doing to you.
Just saying, it's the exact same thing.

This could not possibly be more wrong. We literally signed ToS when we created our accounts that we would not abuse exploits. There is ABSOLUTELY ZERO room for legal action by players here.
thats what people thought about ea and their stuff and you see what happened with them. if its not seen as a fixable issue then its not a exploit. least thats how its seen mostly by most legal bodies. if you dont think you should fix it then its there for the players to use and they shouldnt suffer for it. its just something that falls back on the developers not the players. if someone ever felt like pushing the envelope they could win by a very small margin in a legal fight.

Actually, most of the players here are not selling carries. We are genuinly upset that people are cheating for acheivements that many of us have progressed for months to complete. It has nothing to do with selling skin runs.

Alright, retroactively ban everyone who abused Midyear mayhem to get a cosmetic PVP rank, or that ever got a carry in vMSA, vMoL etc.
Let's keep this consistent.
HighKinlady wrote: »Oreyn_Bearclaw wrote: »I am missing something. Are they advertising selling carries or are the advertising cheating to sell carries. The two are very different. As long you are playing by the rules of the trial, I dont think there is anything in the TOS against selling a clear as long as everyone plays on their respective accounts.
In other words, a good group that can 11 man the trial is perfectly able to say, pay us a million gold, go stand in the corner, and clear the content. Nothing wrong with that as far as ZOS is concerned, and nothing wrong with selling carries in zone chat.
Now if they are saying in zone, hey give me gold and Ill show you how to glitch the trial, that is a wildly different story.
I agree . However , it’s a “pay me 100k to glitch your AS skin” that’s being sold in chat . Like I said , the sellers aren’t on their main accounts and don’t really care how they word the carry simply because they are not on their main account .

Never said not to, thats completely fine with me. An exploit is an exploit and violations of the ToS should all be handled equally. However at this point this trial is the second most difficult content in this game and an exploit causing people to bypass mechanics needs to be handled ASAP.

A fresh character could bypass every mechanic in there by paying for a carry, what’s the difference?
Has that ruined someone else’s sense of accomplishment because they don’t know that player paid for it?
Anyway, at one point all those others I mentioned were the hardest content in game, what significance does that hold other than the fact it’s going to be as redundant as you’re making the others sound at some point also?
Like I said I honestly don’t care, I didn’t need to do that and at the end of the day it’s not gamebreaking at all.

these days the laws are more for the consumer than the gaming companies. probly cause of all the anti gaming legislatures but gamers who claim that zos is full of crap cause they dont wanna fix the game have a 99.99999% chance of winning nowadays. and the main arguement that would be there is if its a exploit you know its an exploit why dont you fix it and thatll be where they lose cause then they can argue that its there for players to use then their allowed to use it cause if its not considered for needing fixed then its there for the players to use. lootboxes in basically every game ever made is practically illegal overseas now because of stuff like this where companies refuse to fix things. its not really a legal whiz kid type thing where the system is or isnt risk free its more of look at the trends the worlds going for its anti gaming if they can bankrupt them their gonna do it. so the asylum glitch needs fixed before someone does decide that their ban was unjust and takes them to court over it.

I'm not sure anyone who got banned for exploiting AS has a case.
"Your Honor, ZOS failed to fix the exploit I used, so they should not ban me for using the exploit."
"Did you agree to the TOS and the Code of Conduct where it says that you will not exploit bugs or glitches, but instead will report them and not use them?"
"Well, yeah, everyone who plays the game has to agree to those."
"And did you report the bug/glitch and not exploit it in accordance with the TOS/Code of Conduct?"
"Well, no, or ZOS wouldn't have banned me..."
"Okay then. Enjoy your ban."
