Thoughts on crafting and inventory management. (not a rant)

Good evening all, with all the controversy surrounding bag size and sheer number of ingredients I have my own opinions. Mind you these opinions might not matter to you. Let me first start off by saying that I care not whether we get a bigger inventory due to player feedback or not.

Moving on, in my opinion the price per bag slot seems too high. You want to charge our characters 3300 for the second upgrade, fine but at 330 gold a slot? That's robbery. Please can we have the bag upgrades scale with price? I'll assume for now there are 4 upgrade tiers(netting you a total of 100 slots). I say give us more bag space in each tier, something to justify the price spike. I say 10 more per upgrade tier, so the new max would be 160(thats assuming 4 upgrades is all)

Probably the biggest gripe is with the sheer number of provisoners items, a lot of people think we should get a bag just for those. I'm not against it, but it negates the purpose of having a limited inventory. You want that sick epic sword you just looted. You're gonna have to trash something....

Moving onto crafting as a whole. I saw a post earlier mentioning the fact that noncrafters will have higher gold reserves than crafters. It's a trade off. Mainly Zenimax is banking on the "hard crafters" selling their goods to negate the downside of breaking items down or researching them, as you don't get any gold from said activities.

Thoughts?

Banking on crafters selling things to offset costs then making selling a pain in the arse...

There are guild stores crafters can sell at, but that does necessitate joining a guild. Not all of us crafters want to do that. I'm not a big joiner.

Id like the stack size to increase to 1000 instead of 100, and i think adding in storage units at the crafting stations with monthly rent fees ,that only station specfic resources can be stored at, would go along way to helping with our inventory issues while adding in the gold sinks Zos wants.

I don't mind the inventory size being a restriction. More than anything else it encourages people to pick one or two crafts and focus on those.

And you only sell to guildmates unless you hold a keep in Cyrodiil, which rubs me the wrong way.

Selling to guildies has always been taboo, and joining a "guild" to sell crap to feels wrong. They shouldnt have called them that imo. Theyre trade cartels.

My mage has two. My dk has four.

My mages provisioning uses more slots alone than my dks woodworking, smithing, enchanting and tailoring combined.
