I'm mainly a PvE'er, I have more than 500k but at the same time don't generate the kind of income that I can spend it all the things mentioned in my other option. I can afford to buy the things I really want which doesn't include motifs and furniture items. I do consume a lot of potions and usually buy BoE gear opposed to farming it. I buy things from the golden but I use AP to buy it and if I didn't have the AP to buy it I would just go earn the AP to buy it, I would never spend gold at the golden.

Actually, I tend to carry less than 100k on my characters. Everything else goes in my bank. Since the poll stated "in my pocket" I assumed that meant on character and not in the bank.

I'm mainly a PvPer (only really PvE to get more gear for PvP), and I don't often have more than 300K gold in the bank (Although I have several million AP banked). I also have no problem getting gold jewelry or mats because my AP buys me lots of gold jewelry plus I usually get a lot from end of campaign rewards, and I regularly farm for mats and complete surveys gained from doing crafting writs every day.

Mainly a pve'r. Managed to gain around 10.5 million during my ventures through questing, being part of trade guilds, so forth. No gold jewelry though. Gold jewelry mats are as rare as hens teeth for me.

Yeah, it's not really "PvE vs PvP" it's "active guild trader vs not". People who actively play the markets have lots of gold. The rest don't.

(most I've ever had was ~1.3mil, when I spent 2-3 months saving up for Hunding's Palatial Hall. Got it fencing stolen goods, doing writs on six alts, and vendoring dropped loot & bulk-crafted food/poisons)

I have plenty of gold and I pvp a lot. I do write on 10 characters everyday and get about 100k-200k a day just from that. With my ap I sell pvp motifs like militant or gold rings necklace from the vender.

I also use ap to buy the hot pve dps gear from the regional vendor. Those fire staffs of mother sorrows infused has made me millions. I get a staff about every 500k ap.

So easy to make gold in this game without even trying you just have to do the things you love and have a little knowledge.

I PVE, I’ve had as much as 4 million gold in the bank. Most of it came from selling off extra patterns and motifs as I farmed them for myself. It allowed me to purchase motifs that I couldn’t farm myself. Now that I’ve given up collecting all motifs, I’ve spent a few million on large houses and buying luxury stuff from crown sellers. I could gold some jewelry I guess but that seems like a poor value for what it would cost.
