So..about the new AS skin glitch ..

Is there any official word from ZOS regarding this ? People are in zone chat bragging about it and selling the skin (yes , I submitted a ticket). I hope the bans are consistent as they have been the past few waves . However , a “yes we know and are working on bans” or any update really from ZOS would be great . Don’t let this get swept under the radar .

They have not. The vast majority of people was graced with a "final warning" after the brief suspension when the last wave went out (between PC and console release of Summerset). I have reported players and have screeshots of the players admitting that they are sniping the boss and selling the runs. Those players are still running around chat selling the cheesed runs.
I do not know what else we have to do to get the attention of ZoS. Why is this not a priority? Why is there no official repsonse like the last two times? This is by far the most important issue for me right now with this game and it is a giant slap in the face to those of us that spend time progressing in-game content. I am absolutely disgusted by the people cheesing it and by the lack of response from ZoS.

their not gonna ever truly ban them. honestly if zos keeps refusing to fix it they could legally take action on zos for banning them as its a bug that zos is refusing to fix that clearly is welcome to be exploited because of the refusal to fix it. it wouldnt take them more than a day to fix it by placeing an trigger like they did in cloudrest.2 -

This could not possibly be more wrong. We literally signed ToS when we created our accounts that we would not abuse exploits. There is ABSOLUTELY ZERO room for legal action by players here.7 -

I don't think they could actually. Don't Zos own all the rights to the game & we are essentially just leasing it from them/paying for the right to play the game. I'm pretty sure Zos can ban you if they think you've broken the terms of service & there's very little you can do.2 -

thats what people thought about ea and their stuff and you see what happened with them. if its not seen as a fixable issue then its not a exploit. least thats how its seen mostly by most legal bodies. if you dont think you should fix it then its there for the players to use and they shouldnt suffer for it. its just something that falls back on the developers not the players. if someone ever felt like pushing the envelope they could win by a very small margin in a legal fight.1 -

✭✭✭✭✭I am missing something. Are they advertising selling carries or are the advertising cheating to sell carries. The two are very different. As long you are playing by the rules of the trial, I dont think there is anything in the TOS against selling a clear as long as everyone plays on their respective accounts.
In other words, a good group that can 11 man the trial is perfectly able to say, pay us a million gold, go stand in the corner, and clear the content. Nothing wrong with that as far as ZOS is concerned, and nothing wrong with selling carries in zone chat.
Now if they are saying in zone, hey give me gold and Ill show you how to glitch the trial, that is a wildly different story.3 -

I agree . However , it’s a “pay me 100k to glitch your AS skin” that’s being sold in chat . Like I said , the sellers aren’t on their main accounts and don’t really care how they word the carry simply because they are not on their main account .

HighKinlady✭✭✭✭While the players that were selling skins early on were fools talking about it across social media ans such (not surprising for players that exploit) it would be an obvious big step into stupidity to advertise exploitating in zone chat.
Granted it could happen but I’d suspect those are just zone chat trolls since we have plenty of them.
A level ten wearing a silver skin may very well be a troll .. but then again with an Xbox generated name and character name that looks like they smashed a keyboard.. who really knows.

@Apache_Kid, just because they didn't say anything, doesn't mean it was ignored. The devs do read these boards, and they do pay attention, but they don't often post. There's a number of reasons for that. But, don't think you're being ignored because you didn't get a public response.0 -

Remember that post a couple weeks ago about the guy whining about how he was banned on his main account for stuff he did on an alt account? I do, it was excellent salt.
Can't wait for someone to stagger in crying about how their main account got shut down because they were selling skins on an alt, but to be fair, I doubt these kids are on the boards in the first place.0
