So, I play ESO on console atm and I'm getting a pc, on ps4 you make an ESO account and link your psn to it..my question is this: is my ESO account username what my pc account will be called or do you have to make a pc account then link it to you ESO account like you do with console?

Just in case it doesn't make sense I'll try an word it differently..

I have a playstation network name and it's linked to an ESO account I had to make when I started the game, if I then go to play ESO on pc do I have to make a new account just for pc or do i log into the pc game using the same username and password as my ESO account I made when I started on console?

Really hope this makes sense

ESO accounts on different platforms are not linked to each other. You will start from zero on, except for your knowledge.

You will always log into your account and be visible to other players by your username, so chose wisely.

So when I go onto the elder Scrolls website and log in with my username and password, the username is what people will see on pc?

Yes. People see me as @Sylvermynx and my characters as the toon name with @Sylvermynx as well, in game.

By default, people in guild chat will see your ID @username, in other chats your toon name. But in general, consider your ID visible all the time, since there are tools and options to see it.

And yes, it is the exact same ID you pair with your password in the login screen.

Ok that's good then, I just wanted to make sure I'd be able to have the same name on pc as I do on console (I know i'll be starting from scratch)
